"Amazing, quaint motel with great access to Rehoboth Beach. We were in town for a wedding and the rehearsal dinner was supposed to be a bonfire on the beach, but the high winds did not allow. We ended up at the bride’s mother’s house in Lewes nd it was an easy, short drive. The ceremony and reception were held at Baymont, which was again an easy drive, minus the mid afternoon school/work traffic. All in all everything is very accessible via hwy 1, but if you were just there to relax at the beach and take it easy, you wouldn’t need to leave Rehoboth Ave. Shops, restaurants, and breweries/bars all on one street! The modern touch the renovation added to this property is amazing. The beds were comfy and clean. The vanity and shower were clean and new. We needed both A/C and heat during our stay and both worked flawlessly. "

When we arrived in the room, there was some sand on the floor and a little on the couch, which was disappointing. It is next to a beach so maybe not preventable but I think it could have been vacuumed a bit more carefully. Otherwise, the room was clean and the bathroom was spotless. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. "
