First of all check-in to this hotel (Lucija) is at 3.00PM and not at 2.00PM as it is wrongly written at your agency! I have some issues at hotel regarding your check-in time - I needed to wait one hour and half longer! The air conditioner in the room is in very poor condition as it cannot cool the room. As a result, it was very hot in the room, the room is facing west and is in the hot sun all afternoon, so we opened the balcony door in the evening to cool down a bit. But in this hotel and obviously some in this chain (as we later learned), the light at midnight is automatically lit on the balcony. And this light can't be shut down, so we couldn't turn it off and burned all night? This is crazy. I don't know who in the hotel management has invented such a foolish rule that the lights light up on the balconies at night and thus disturb the guests of hotels who sleep in the rooms? Even the floor in the room, covered with carpet, adding to higher temperatures.

This is a great hotel and located in a nice area of town. Great staff and the service was excellent. The food was lovely and there was so much choice. All very tasty. We really enjoyed our time here.

Great location. Lovely pool facilities. Stairs and ramps between parking and rooms makes baggage handling difficult. Air conditioning does not seem to handle temperature too well. Buffet meals pleasant but fairly basic and quite busy.

Tasty breakfast and dinner buffet. Kids loved indoor pool! Everything was perfect for our extended weekend stay!

My husband and I are not overly fussy about where we stay; we love to camp or stay in mountain huts, but when it comes to a cleanliness, we do expect a clean room in a hotel. So this place is definitely in need of some updating as it has dents, dings, general shabbiness, but that is not the part that made us uncomfortable, because that’s just all cosmetic. There was grime and splatters of miscellaneous crud all around the wall by the waste basket-a mess that was obvious to the naked eye and clearly able to be easily addressed by housekeeping, if they bothered. When you see that, then all the other oversights pop up-squished little bugs on walls, hairs on the sink, and a definite need to do a more thorough cleaning. Yes, the front office staff were cordial enough, but this is the last thing we wanted to see in our room when you checkin late at night. If it seemed like the kind of place where they just had a housekeeping snafu, then we would have requested a different room, but based on the common areas, I think this might be a more widespread issue. The hotel is centrally located, so that was convenient .

We booked last minute and this hotel was perfect. Great value. Nothing over the top but clean and functional. Front desk staff were great at check in. Always very friendly. We would stay again for sure.

Asked for room with balcony. Paid more to get a decent room. Got a room in the ground floor . So balcony was misleading. Badge-in didn't work and eventually had to be replaced. Hotel is a bit tired. I would not recommend this hotel at this price.

Overall, it was a nice stay. However, I was unpleasantly surprised how run down the indoor was. Also, even though the room was cleaned before my arrival, I couldn't help but notice the black mould in the shower. Plus, the white wall in the room had stains...

Worth to stay!
Nice hotel close to the beach. Staff is friendly, and all of them are multi-language. Room is quite new, only 3 problem: 1. They don't cleaning anything during a week, just changeing the towels, emptying the garbage bins, and do the bed. After a few days we have had some dirt on the floor. Overall we shared our room with 2 spiders in the upper corners... 2. For 2 person they just push together 2 beds, we haven't got a king size bed. 3. No frigerator. Food is delicious, you should take half board at least!! After 4-5 days the breakfast is a little bit boring, but tasty and fresh!! The dinner is variable, they always took fish. Everything is absolute fresh (foods, salads, others)! Great cakes! They have an outdoor pool near to the hotel, it's great and free! They have rental bikes for free, but only 3 (!!!) bikes are available!!?? Bad decision.. Parking is 14 EUR for a day, it's not cheap, but you can't find cheaper nearby. We celebrated my girlfriend's birthday during our stay, and the staff put a surprise cake into our room, meanwhile we went to the beach!!! Awesome!!! :D They have some small things, but overall are absolute worth to stay!! Thanks!!!!

Fantastic stay in Portoroz
Wife and I took a run around through Slovenia and Portoroz is definitely the highlite. The city is big enough to walk around and relax, it has beaches (concrete, rocks, sandy*) and wonderfull views. We were in Piran day before Portoroz and were overwhelmed to see Portoroz as I would say Piran cannot compare. The staff was wonderfull, we came a bit early to check-in and our room was not ready and they set us up in the lounge and we took the parking pass (take it from the hotel as then parking is 5e per night with as many in/out as you want instead of 10e if you just come and park). We had half-board and dinner had great choice of fish and meat and assorter salads. The room was clean and nicely designed. Hotel is 100-200m away from the beach just across the street. Great service would definitely come back! Internet in the room is 2e per night and free in the lounge and bar. The drinks at dinner are offered by staff but they are payed.

Hoterl is new and very clean although no mini bar and minimal rooms. Price is right and presents good value compared with other hotels in Portoroz.

Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und Hotelkategorie ((3 Sterne) entspricht bei weitem nicht dem Standard. Zimmer- und Restauranteinrichtung billigst. Stiegenaufgänge schmutzig. 700,- Euro für zwei Nächte mit Frühstück (2 Personen) !!! Wir werden sicher nicht mehr über diese Buchungsplattform buchen. Doch auch etwas Positives: Der Außenpool war sauber und schön.

Bonne localisation, mais cher par rapport au niveau de service fourni. La piscine est sympa, mais nécessite de traverser la rue et pas toujours assez d'ombre pour tout le monde. Le petit dej est vraiment cheap et très décevant, en plus dans une atmosphère très bruyante. La clim est très bruyante, pas réglable, et la seule manière de l'arrêter est de garder la porte du balcon ouverte (confirmé par le réceptionniste qui ne semblait pas choqué)
