There was no ac-it was extremely hot-had to keep door open and noise all night outside. The room was from the 60s- the carpet was disgusting.

It took me a while to realize that front desk was at Histrion, not a Villa Park There is no staff overnight at Villa Park, neither during the day, except for room cleaning.

Excellent location, family-friendly, at the doorstep to beaches and sports facilities, a marina, restaurants and cafes, shops, close to beautiful views of the sea and the terraced hills, arts & culture venues, Excellent breakfast with high-quality local produce and gourmet regional dishes.Very friendly Reception staff working diligently despite an outdated booking & facilities management system. Clean facilities but in need for refurbishment). Great for a vacation on a budget, not so great for a business traveler due to poor room amenities (e.g. a single plug available, poor wifi, poor desk space).

Gorgeous
Gorgeous grounds, beautiful room overlooking the ruins in the courtyard, clean room, free breakfast and a superb staff. The locatio couldn't have been better. There was no room for improvement. Absolutely fabulous hotel.

Apartment good if slightly dated. Good range of shops and facilities in the complex and a 15 minute walk to Piran town which is very nice old town. Main criticism is that you have to pay 20E per day to use a parasol and pair of sunbeds at the hotel pool or lawn - we bought a lilo and laid on the grass.

This was a very good stay, we enjoyed this hotel. It was the offseason so the hotel was quiet and the big pool was closed for the season. The room was very clean, but was dated and the hall smelled of smoke, but had a great breakfast. Overall we felt for the money, it was very good value. No complaints, we would go back!

Location is great,
Most rooms are old and tatty, very dark and dim,tv was a very small portable , definitely room is stuck in 70's decor although location of hotel is great, I requested a room change and was moved to a newer block, room was much brighter, I was disappointed as it was nothing like what I was expecting, as the pictures on the internet and expedia show the hotel to look amazing and it is far from that. Dining was in sister hotel, food was good, good choice of buffet breakfast. Swimming-pool is small, otherwise part of sea is cordoned off for swimming, other hotels in vicinity have much nicer bathing, still with area cordoned off but sun bathing area is much nicer. Nice marina and half hour walk to Piran or Portoroz main beach, All in all good location but needs rooms need updating, with a little TLC rooms could be nice

Very basic, inexpensive hotel
Stayed there for 5 nights on a business trip. The booking options include breakfast or half-board, while the food was served in the neighboring hotel's restaurant. The choice and quality of buffet food was very good. Hotel staff speaks English, German and Italian, among other languages.

Very nice place
Right at the Adriatic see - nice little outdoor Italian restaurant on the premises. Walking distance to Piran - a spectacular little south european village. Internet free and working! Large breakfast buffet included. Lots of kids and old people ;-) But still also a great alternative if you are at a conference at the much more expansion 5 star hotel next door!

exhausting heat without air conditioner
Exhausting heat.No air conditioner or ventilators in the room. Could not sleep. My stay was during the first week of July. Would never go back during the summer. By-the-way, my mother is 77 years old and suffered more than me. The trip to Portoroz was her birthday present. :(

Im Hotel Ville Park ist keine Rezeption, man muss im Nachberhotel einchecken, es war keine Info angebracht, fremde Gäste informierten uns, es wurden € 5,- Anmeldegebühr verrechnet, dass wurde bei der Buchung über Expedia nicht mitgeteilt, ich habe aber auch noch nie zusätzlich eine Anmeldegebühr bezahlt, ersuche um Rücküberweisung an Ania Kampl, AT67 2032 0122 0203 3664, ASPKAT2LXXX

Szuper jó hely !!!!
Mi most voltunk itt 5. alkalommal. Nagyon szeretünk idejárni. A szálloda a tengerparton van, nagyon szép környezetben. A személyzet udvarias, barátságos. Naponta takarítanak, minden ragyok a tisztaságtól, a strand is !!! A reggeli és vacsora nagyon változatos, sokféle finom tengeri hal is van minden nap, bőséges, finom egyéb ételek mellett. Talán az édességek lehetnének izletesebbek is. Remélem jövőre is tudunk menni !!!

værelserne var rigtig flotte, havde køleskab og familieværelset var delt op i 2 med en dør imellem. Rigtig lækker morgen buffet. Lille gåtur ned til poolen og stranden. Vi kunne få ladet vores elbil op. 15 min gåtur langs strandpromanaden til Piran, hvilket var en imponerende lille by med små stræder, kirketårn og borg, man kunne komme op i. Eneste nehative? Måske for meget salt i poolen.

A takarítás néha össze volt csapva, WC papir nem mindig volt feltöltve, törölköző egy alkalommal kérés ellenére se lett cserélve. Minden más hibátlan volt.

nejprve zklamání, potom už jen samá spokojenost
Do hotelu VILE PARK jsme letos jeli již po třetí, jelikož se nám v Portoroži i hotel moc líbí. Letos nastalo zklamání, jelikož nás ubytovali ve vile ORADA, pokoj č. 346. Tento pokoj by měl sloužit spíše jako příruční sklad.Pokoj byl přízemní, okenice se otvíraly přímo do chodníku, franc.okna neměla zábradlí, nebylo si kde sušit plavky, o venkovním posezení ani nemluvě. Okna neměla záclony, tudíž nebylo žádné soukromí. Buď denní světlo v pokoji a byli jsme jak ve výkladní skríni nebo zatahnout závěsy nebo zavřít okenice, ale v pokoji byla tma. Navíc vzduch byl velmi zatuchlý. Proto jsme poprosili o výměnu za pokoj přímo v hotelu a bylo nám vyhověno. Touto cestou bych chtěla poděkovat recepční za velmi milý a vsřtícný přístup, samozřejmě se spoluprací manažerky hotelu. Byli jsme velmi spokojení a určitě příští rok vyrazíme znovu. Hotelové služby jsou opravdu perfektní, čistota v celém hotelu i venkovních prostorách, výborná kuchyně a v neposlední řadě velmi profesionální přístup ke klientům.

Wir waren dort mit Hund und in einem Gebäude untergebracht das sehr stark abgewohnt war, die Balkontür schloss nicht richtig und das im Erdgeschoss, der Teppichboden war fleckig, die Möbel zerschlissen, die Türen rot bemalt und abgesplittert, Es entsprach überhaupt nicht dem Bild bzw wird noch darauf hingewiesen das dies ein Riesen komplex ist und das Frühstück in einem anderen Hotel ist.
