"The staff was helpful, the property in a safe location, and no bugs. However, it was super dirty. The walls had stains smeared, the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed in a while, and the bathroom smelled like a nursing home. There wasn’t a continental breakfast or even vending machines. No cable either. They also couldn’t honor my ADA request for a first floor room."

"The room appeared to be clean, however I spilt some water on the floor and when I cleaned it up, the paper towel was black. It did not appear the floors had been scrubbed in quite some time. Bed was comfy. Kitchen could have been stocked better, particularly with water glasses. Limited towels, only 2 bath towels for a 3 night stay for 2 of us, one kitchen hand towel, one dish cloth and no towel to dry dishes, the dishwasher was out of order. Thankfully, a washer and dryer was on sight, with no additional cost to use it. Be aware, the apartment is up three half flights of steps, if that may be a problem. The "views" were NOT remarkable, unless brick buildings and roads fall into that category. Although, Luverne is a quaint community, it offers a beautiful city park along a river, with a nice playground and picnic area. Significant road noise was heard. We would probably stay there again, as other options in town are much more expensive or extremely run down."

"This is a great place to stay compared to a hotel! The house is well taken care of; cozy, and has all of the amenities that you need to feel like home. The hostess was super available and communicative! You can tell the owners love the house for how cozy it is. Super clean, tons of towels, and the beds were super comfortable! Close access to Blue Mounds State Park. 15/10 would stay again! There’s a good restaurant/bar in town!"
