"Spacious clean farm house with a large open floor plan making it perfect to host a larger group. Plenty of large comfortable beds for a large group. Large covered porch with railing - great for containing toddlers and dogs. Peaceful quiet country setting for porch sitting. Hot tub out back. Host was accommodating."
Cozy Creek Cabin: 1-Bedroom Cabin next to Pipestem Resort

"My husband and I stayed for two nights. The cabin was clean, comfy, and had a great location across from Pipestem. The host was extremely responsive; we needed a wine key, and the property manager brought one right over! The floors had a greasy residue all over them, but seemed clean, so I think it was from whatever had been used to mop. We had to wear flip-flops inside the whole time, and even then we were sliding around. I took off a star bc of the kitchen. The cabin sleeps 6, but the kitchen was not equipped to cook for 6 people. No large skillet if you wanted to make eggs for 6, no chef knife if you wanted to chop a head of romaine. Also, there is a microwave, but only plastic bowls and plates, and microwaving in plastic is a big no-no. Finally, the oven temperature knob is broken - it spins around loosely so you cannot tell what temp you are setting. I'm sure the host would have fixed these issues if we had reached out, but with just 2 of us for 2 nights, we got by just fine. Overall, I recommend - great value and host!"

"The outdoor spaces are wonderful. The creek and fire pit are perfect for relaxing and enjoying being outside. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed, except an extra blanket. The cabin is extremely small. Great for two people, small for our group of four (after three nights)."
Million Dollar View Cabin By New River Gorge Park

"The house is very comfortable and clean and matches the pictures. And the view is incredible! But the house is also pretty isolated. It’s at least 15 minutes from a very small grocery and more like 30 from a decent Kroger. It was 30-60 minutes from New River Gorge National Park, depending on which part of the park you’re exploring, so it wasn’t a convenient home base. But it would be a great place for just relaxing in the mountains!"
Million Dollar View Home by New River Gorge Park

"Absolutely amazing cabin with a truly million dollar view. Its about 10 minutes of beautoful back roads to get to the cabin from "civilization" and worth every second. The home was spotlessly clean. Its got everything you need, and the view and property are just beyond description. Close to Hinton and Beckley, where everything and anything you need is available. Close to New River Gorge NP. We did the coal mine tour in Beckley and recommend that. All of the various spots in New River Gorge National Park are striking distance. Reasonably priced boat rentals at Bluestone state park. Great hiking. We did a guided fishing trip with Outcast and had a great time and caught a bunch of smallmouth. Mentioning all of this stuff because the house is on the highest point anywhere around or at least it seems so when taking in the view, but it is still close to everything. Stars on a clear night are absolutely incredible. Sunrise is right in front of you and out the window, and is epic. Bathroom is clean, water pressure is decent. Kitchen has all you need. Loft is really neat with an incredible view. Downstairs bedroom is practical but the pull out couch downstairs is honestly where its at because you can see all of the stars at night and wake up to the view and sunrise. Ample parking. The whole place just works and is exactly as pictured. Worth every cent."
