"We were there on Thanksgiving. This was a really cozy place! It’s full of history and atmospheric details. A little bit cold in the bathroom but overall enough heating in other rooms. The house is located somewhere at the height level of 4000 feet, so be prepared to drive uphills about 40-60 minutes. Sequoia National Park is 30 minutes if driving and the way is very winding"

"The parking was slightly confusing but we didn't end up having any issues. We were under the impression this would be more of an entire house with a kitchen, the pictures are deceiving. It is just a room. It was still great for our needs. The bed was comfortable and we just loved the bathroom! There weren't any towels when we arrived so we weren't able to shower after hiking all day but when we woke up there were some outside our door. We did book very last minute. "Lovely little cabin on the river. It is the most high-tech rustic cabin we have stayed in and has lots of spices etc in the kitchen, which is well equipped. Richard and Jeannie are awesome hosts and we had a lovely time. Note that it is on the road to Sequoia so there is some road noise, but we did not find it too bad even in August. "

"Very nice host. The place is very cozy and nostalgic. Close to Sequoia park entrance. Once entered the mountain area, my carrier is T-Mobil and there is no signal at all in Three Rivers. host offers wifi, but WiFi won’t be able to support video streaming online. There are board games and many books for guests to kill the time. The WiFi module makes some noise and if it truly bothers, you can unplug it before bed. Overall great experience! "
