Lovely, secluded cabin in Vermont's "Land of Lakes and Ponds"
10/10 Excellent
"Looks like new renovation post Vermont-wide flood: nice wood floors and ceiling. Wood/gas stove a very nice feature. New appliances & cupboards: very nice. Our 2 little girls called it a castle because of the circular stair. They also discovered they could remove the plugs at each end of the railing and make a “telephone.” Good house for adventures. Although we tried we did not brave the cold water pools. Another time perhaps. So nice to tell the girls to go outside and play, though. We would like to come again in full summer."
Beautifully renovated antique farmhouse on pristine lake.

"This house offers everything and then some. Very clean and creative fun art everywhere. We enjoyed time on the kayaks and were happy whether we were inside or outside. Game closet then offered more joy for children. There’s trails to hike and great for our dog too.Grateful the host offers this stellar experience. If you book, aim to leave it even better than you found it (it’ll be a challenge) but the respect it deserves."
"Nice quiet spot to relax. Everything was clean and host was great. I liked the hidden items in random spots found 4. Lol would definitely come back when i need another relax vacation. "
"Room was very clean and nicely equipped.
Upon checking in I was "upgraded" at no cost to a room in the main building. This was after I asked about safety of items locked and covered in my vehicle. One biggest complaint is that the doors to the outside were not locked at night. I have heard a lot about past troubles at the location UNDER DIFFERENT OWNERSHIP and think that increased security would help. According to local people I spoke with there are a group of people living at the hotel who are in care of Social Services. While I support offering this initiative, I also think that security should be important to all."
