"The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. What we didn’t like was that the hot tub wasn’t available and the pool was cold. In fact, that whole end of the building, including the lobby was very chilly. Breakfast was mostly gluten carbs, and no fresh fruit."

"We had a three night stay at Janas property over the kids MEA break. The house was easy to find, and check in was easy as long as you read the check in instructions. The first thing I noticed was how clean the house was. I very much appreciate a clean VRBO, or its difficult for me to actually enjoy a vacation. There are plenty of sleep spaces, and the beds were pretty comfortable. The house has pretty much everything you could need. Three TV's, and wifi worked good, so there was no fighting on the day where we were stuck inside due to the cold and wind. Neighbors were running back and forth through the property and had loose dogs. They only did it when we weren't outside, so it was done in a respectful manner, plus I am sure everyone knows each other there, and we didn't mind. We brought our dog and he also enjoyed his time there. We relaxed, sat outside, went down by the lake, and went on a fishing launch at Terrys in Garrison ( I recommend it). Lots of wildlife to see (ducks, geese, eagles, deer). I would definitely think of coming back and book a stay during the summer so we could utilize the lake more, but the lake was super clear and just all around very pretty for a much needed few days away."

"We chose this property for a family event over the weekend (daughter's wedding) that was nearby. It definitely met all of our family/extended family needs. The property was very clean and non-cluttered with comfortable couches/chairs, had a spacious kitchen for cooking and meal preparation as well as ample dinnerware/cookware, more than adequate dining/seating options, and plenty of beds and sleeping options to meet the needs of a large family. Then there's the setting, the view. To wake up every day to a view of a lake with a variety of birds (swans, geese, etc...) and other wildlife, who would complain about that! The fall colors only added to the view, the setting.Regarding the host, the most fitting word to me is "gracious". Karli was on top of communication, letting me know well in advance all the usual things: e.g., when we could check-in, how to get into the property, our responsibilities during the stay, when check-out time was, etc...But she also readily answered other questions I had prior to our arrival, and even initiated communication with me once after the stated hours of her availability. Without question, if we ever return to this area and are in need of a VRBO this place would be my first choice!"

"We had a wonderful time at this comfortable clean cabin. Area is so quiet and terrific area to just relax and enjoy the nature. We had good time having a bonfire, making s’mores ,visiting and walking the trail. Would definitely rent again as we did not want to leave this time!"
