Please note that this historic cabin is over 125 years old and has its charming quirks. It is heated by a pellet stove, which can get quite hot and is not safe for unattended children. The stove requires occasional tending to maintain warmth. The sunroom is a 3-season porch and can not be heated to comfortable temperatures in very cold weather. Additionally, 4WD is required for access during winter months due to snow. With a little care, this rustic retreat offers a unique and cozy experience.

BRINGING YOUR FURRY FRIEND? Let us know about your dog(s) and we should be able to accommodate with an adjustment to our cleaning fee. $100 cleaning fee per dog, max two dogs. Sorry, no cats.

Village was unexpectedly primitive, quaint, and historical. Deer casually walked unafraid through the maintained 100 year old buildings. The streams flowing into the picturesque value offered beauty of sight and sound that I was seeking. The townsfolk are friendly and helpful. This 130 year old house has obviously been blessed by ongoing and difficult structural maintenance and upgrades. The best thing is the unique style of historical- antiques everywhere- with convenient modern luxury. The beds are very comfortable. The yard amenities are thoughtful, promoting easy calmness. I heartily encourage mountain-loving travelers to enjoy a respite at the Pineview Cottage!Russ
