Rustic charm with modern technology at Eagles Haven, a 3250 sq ft private log cabin retreat nestled among the beautiful Ponderosa Pines in Strawberry, north of Payson, Arizona, a short 1.5 hr drive from Phoenix, Arizona.

Eagles Haven has two master bedrooms is 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath and sleeps 17 people comfortably - 13 in beds and an additional 6 in pull out couches. In addition, there is a pull out couch in the game room for a total of 21 people. The half bath is located in the game room, which also has a refrigerator and wet bar. There are 2 gas fireplaces (one in the living room and the other in the basement / family room), dining room and a game room.

Amenities include pool table, air hockey, (3) big screen TVs, board games, darts, lots of child toys, including a Ms Pacman / Space Invaders video game, porch swing, outside rocking chairs, picnic table.

Cook magnificent meals in the updated (March 2022) kitchen. Stainless steel Samsung freestanding stove cooks like a regular range as well as convection, air fryer and steam cooking. Kitchen Aid microwave boasts of convection cooking, as well as regular microwave. The Samsung dishwasher has 3 racks and will automatically open when done to allow the steam to escape!

With the quaint, fully stocked kitchen, entertain your closest friends and family outside on the wood porches, on the picnic tables or in the spacious amazing living room and dining room. This true log cabin does have AC on the ground floor, the basement is naturally cool, year round and ceiling fans in every room.

The game room (garage) has its own bathroom, sink, microwave and refrigerator / freezer and even a pull out sofa. This is perfect for a honeymoon suite or groups for all occasions. Enjoy the Pool table, air hockey and darts here.

Had a perfect time at this cabin! There is tons of space, so you can really bring a lot of people on this stay. There's at least 6 beds and plenty of couch space. There's a cool basement for watching movies, and a separate game room with pool table, darts, etc. It is also fully stocked, you don't need to bring anything except your clothes. Stocked kitchen with plates, utensils, etc. Many appliances to use, all the spices you would want, and big dining table. The town and the surrounding area is incredible. It sits among the pine trees and we saw wild elk walking around town on 5 different occasions. If you're looking for a close getaway from the city, or especially if you want to plan a big family/friend experience, this is the place. Would definitely come back again.

A beautiful cabin that is well stocked. Plenty of room for everyone. My family loved the game room. Owner is very nice and pleasant to deal with. We enjoyed our stay, and would return again.

Girls weekend

The cabin is large and easily accommodated our group of 5. Location is close to restaurants and was easily accessible. Cabin was clean and had all necessary supplies in kitchen to cook meals. We had a lovely time.

Easter weekend retreat

Great place for families with kids, teenagers and adults!! Multiple areas to escape to. We have stayed at many VRBOs and this Kitchen was by far the best stocked! Overall a great place.

Great time in the mountains!

The house is incredible, tons of space with everything you need for a great vacation. We sat on the nice porch in the cool air. There is plenty of things to do for all ages. The house is perfect for kids as well as adults. Will surely stay at Eagle Haven again!

Fantastic stay

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The house was very spacious, clean and felt very welcoming. There were plenty of beds and were very comfortable. We enjoyed eating outside on the porch and watching the elk, or spending time together in the family room. All the family said they loved staying here and would definitely stay here again. Winter Family Vacation

Amazing and beautiful cabin

We were so impressed by the property and the gorgeous log home. You can see the love and care the home has received over the years. It was stocked with anything you may need for a family gathering and the home is gorgeous. There is more than enough room for a large family to spread out. We absolutely loved the Christmas tree and decorations!

We had fun but we wish the downstairs gas fireplace would have worked - the children were cold when they went downstairs - it would be ok in the summer bur in the wintertime the heat should be working down stairs - as all the games movies and kid things are downstairs - this is our second stay and we did not have heat downstairs last time we stayed either because the downstairs gas fireplace was not working

Beautiful cabin! Everything we needed for our family getaway!

Perfect place to bring our family, including our nine grandchildren aged 10 and under! There was something for everyone to do. Loved having several large bedrooms with numerous beds, and the luxury 4.5 bathrooms was nice! Great location…not too far from Payson yet high enough to play in snow. Everyone had a great time! Beautiful cabin and great host! Communication was quick and helpful. Would definitely go back again!

We had a lovely weekend. The cabin is so homey and comfortable. Played a few games of pool and spent time on the arcade with Ms. PacMan and Gallatian. The welcome table information was really helpful. If you like craft beer, try THAT Brewery & Pub and get a sampler - great price. The food and service is good too. We were there for a wedding and the cabin was only 1 mile away from the venue. Hiking was nearby and the trails are well groomed. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice spacious cabin

Lots of dishes and small kitchen appliances. Lots of room. Upgraded kitchen. Rustic style cabin. Game room fun. 2 refrigerators was nice for stocking. Host was a great communicator. We are group of 7 guys. Had to be careful of noise due to 10pm noise rule. Larger group might be a challenge. Otherwise great.

Cabin home

This cabin is even bigger than was listed on VRBO. The upstairs has three bedrooms, one which has three queen beds, and the other has an en suite. The third is a twin bed, but has a pop-up bed under it. The basement is a huge family room with 2 couches and a big mattress type footstool. My granddaughters, 18 and 21 slept on that comfortably. It has a closet full of games and a large TV with a fireplace. The main living room was Comfortable with three couches and a chair and a Pac-Man game and a desk. Extremely comfortable with the gas fireplace and a great room concept joining the dining room and the large kitchen. I was thrilled with the property and the attached garage/game room with a pool table and an air hockey game. It also had an extra refrigerator which helped with our large family of 15. We were never cramped and extremely comfortable. The owner is very quick to respond to communication. If the Internet is a must, you will be disappointed as it is very sketchy. I plan on returning with my friends and another trip with my family. Five stars all the way.
