The house was beautiful and very clean! The fireplace in the living room kept us warm. Incredibly beautiful surroundings. This trip was to celebrate my son's 39th Birthday and to celebrate that he beat cancer. We had a wonderful time here. Totally recommend!

This was a nice property. Very quiet and private. Everything was great! Hot tub was definitely a treat for us! Would recommend having more towels for the hot tub and also for showering. Everything was great in the kitchen except no cleaning supplies other than dish soap and Had no foil. Which we had to go buy at the store. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at this location. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed. We had one issue but the property owner was very responsive and resolved the issue so that our stay was not affected. The location is great at the end of a street and view is beautiful. It’s quiet and the jacuzzi was enjoyed by everyone.

I honestly can say you will be hard pressed to find a prettier view than this! The cabin is so welcoming and relaxing. It's hard to be inside with a view like this! The pictures don't do it justice. The entire process was easy and the host was great. We cannot wait to come back again very soon! I don't have anything bad to say, just perfect!

Air conditioning is in living room only so bedrooms were extremely warm. Drones watched us while on the patio. We felt like someone was watching us and tried to enter the house several times. We also discovered that someone, who we assumed was the owner, was living in the garage.

This is a wonderful location high up on the hill overlooking the forest and is located very close to the Strawberry-Pine area.
The kitchen is well stocked for just about any type of cooking, the property owner is very communicative, the whirlpool and fireplace were great additions for a cool November evening.
There is no heat other than the wood-burning fireplace and the artificial fireplace in the master bedroom. However, there was plenty of heat from both of those sources.
For those who like to watch birds, this is a great location. Spread some birdseed on the ground, and you will see plenty of beautiful birds.
At night there was plenty of stargazing, and we witnessed Havelina and Elk roaming through the property. The description of the property is exact to what you will get. I would highly recommend this location.

Property is listed as having “air conditioning”. There is a small a/c window unit in the corner of the living room. It does NOT cool the 1300+ sq ft cabin. The bedrooms were horribly hot. Wouldn’t recommend in the heat of summer. Otherwise a wonderful place.

Pretty much as advertised.. although the text could be much more clear about the need to go down/ up loose and uneven flagstone stairs to get from the driveway to front door. Easy to trip when carrying things. AD does say it's not handicapped access, to be fair, but if you're older, gave bad knees, hips or balance.. would think twice.
Also its easy to overlook the fact there is no washer/dryer access available. The hot tub was great, we used it without heat to cool off in the heat wave! Gorgeous view from deck and tub.
The area is awesome and the location is convenient for day trips. Lots of wildlife to view (and slow down for) and plenty of things to do.
'Downtown' Strawberry is charming. The empanada shop is terrific, the lavender farm store is fantastic although expensive.

My husband, our dog, Loretta and I stayed for a few days of relaxation. This is a wonderful house with an amazing deck and very comfy outdoor furniture. The deck is partially covered which is great to sit out and watch the afternoon thunderstorms and the other part is left open so that at night you can sit and watch the amazing stars. The kitchen is fairly well appointed but we honestly didn’t do any real cooking as there are lots of good restaurants in the area. The rest of the home is comfortable. It’s been remodelled recently as there are still plaster marks on many of the walls but there’s new flooring and new bathrooms one of which is in a hallway with a door to the outside which is kind of weird but since it was just us two humans it didn’t make any difference.
The view is lovely across a small valley and farms and you can hear the cows lowing and horses neighing and it’s very quiet and peaceful.
The bed in the primary bedroom is super high and difficult to crawl into and the mattress has some type of topper that might be comfortable for a night or two but was a bit too soft for me and I did get a bit of a back ache by the last day But I imagine most would think it super comfortable.
The only issue we had was that the previous guests didn’t clean up their dog poop before they left and there were quite a few piles around plus two poop bags in the back yard that we cleaned up. Other than that the place was clean and the hot tub was amazing!

Firstly, the location is fabulous. It's the last house on a dead end street and you can barely see any other houses, even from the deck and the hot tub....just miles and miles of pine trees. Secondly, the host anticipated her guests every possible need. The house is equipped with great amenities. The kitchen and bathrooms are very well appointed. I was surprised to find the kitchen had both a regular coffee maker and a Keurig, with a large variety of coffee pods and even four different flavors of individually packaged Coffee Mate creamers in the fridge! Several tea varieties and an electric tea pot too. The kitchen counter had a bowl of snack size candy bars to welcome us, plus a big basket of items to make S'mores with. The host was immediately responsive when it was necessary to text her with a question or two. The house is all on one level, but was a tad tricky for our 74-year old companion to manage the steps, especially in the thin air but she was still glad she came. Our favorite feature was the big deck to take in the scenery and breathe the cool, fresh mountain air. Hot tub at night gazing at the stars was icing on the cake. I'll definitely return to this relaxing retreat. On a side note, I ended up with a low tire that apparently had a slow leak so I called the Strawberry Motorwerks. They were extremely busy but when I told them we were visiting from out of town they took my car right in and fixed the tire on the spot so as not to interrupt our activities :)

Beautiful home quietly situated with wonderful views and fantastic amenities. We enjoyed sunshine and meals prepared in the well equipped kitchen outside on the deck and the spacious hot tub nestled in the pine trees. The gorgeous fireplace was our favorite spot to hang out by each evening! Our visit was totally relaxing and rejuvenating – just what we hoped for! Our host was very helpful, and we highly recommend this wonderful home. We would definitely visit again!

It is hard to count how many times I said, "this place is awesome, they have thought of every little touch possible." The cabin (a home) is at the end of a longish cul-de-sac and is fairly isolated, while in a neighborhood. The wrap-around deck has FOUR sitting set-ups (couch, chairs, tables, umbrellas, under cover, open air) -- all comfortable. Fireplace (real wood, with plenty of kindling easily picked up in the immediate area), extraordinary hot tub (private, large, easy to remove the cover), tons of towels, first-rate body washes, shampoos, etc. Comfortable couches, beds. Nice dining set-up. More condiments, Keurig coffees, spices, cooking oils, pots, pans, plates than I have in my house (possibly more a comment on my house than the cabin). Every utensil (eating, cooking, other) that you can think of. I can't say enough -- they thought of EVERYTHING -- and it is all first-rate. Lastly, Kelly (the Guest Contact) was friendly, responsive, and went out on a limb to accommodate all requests pre-, during, and post-trip. Could not have been happier with the trip and the rental, all around.

The home was very comfortable with all the amenities a family could need. The wrap around deck views and cool breeze was a real treat. And the location in a cul de sac provided extra privacy with virtually no traffic.
