All really great here … donated an inexpensive hair dryer tho and carpeting is a bit on the worn side but other those two items, we would re-rent for sure. Also, found 2 restaurants we recommend… El Rodeo (Mexican) and Duza’s for their fish special !!"

"We had the best time. The house was beautiful and cozy. It was spacious and had everything we needed. We all enjoyed the game room, but having another level for the adults to sit and relax was convenient as well. The host was super nice and helpful. We went hiking, crawfishing and antique shopping. The kids got up early to watch the deers walk by. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"Hilda’s cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway in Pine! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Easy to find and a great neighborhood with elk strolling thru the yard! We would definitely stay again. I offer just a few suggestions: refinish the hand rail on the steps - we got a few splinters; replace the memory foam mattress in the first bedroom; and indicate on the listing that the grill is charcoal so guests can be prepared. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"We had an amazing Easter weekend at the house and were blessed with a spring snowfall! The house was perfect, with comfy beds, a great kids room and everything we might have needed in the kitchen. The house is close to town, yet backs up to the national forest and feels completely private and remote. Great for exploring and a campfire with smores!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here, the cabin was very clean and comfortable. The woods / yard with hammock, tetherball, and swing was awesome. The downstairs apartment was fun for the kids too. This neighborhood is one of our favorites in Pine, lots of woods and elk all around, close to hiking, perfect! Highly recommend staying here."

"We just returned from a weekend trip to Happy Jack. I wish we could have stayed longer. The cottage was so inviting and adorable. You can tell there was a lot of thought put into the construction. For example, there is a beam across the kitchen where the wiring for the ceiling fan and lights were hidden. The ladder going up to the loft was very safe. The kitchen had everything you may need. "This property was exceptional from the moment we booked. Great communication with the property management. When we arrived everything was exactly what we expected from all the pictures. The house accommodated our family of 10 very comfortably. It’s location is just far enough to enjoy the peace and quite of nature, but still close enough to the rim and all the lakes to really enjoy exploring the area. We hope to come back again."

"We had a great stay at the cabin! Elk came by a couple times a day to visit and munch on grass. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It rained and hailed pretty much every day, so we spent a lot of time inside the cabin. We were very comfortable and warm. The dogs loved running and playing in the backyard (when the elk weren't there first). The host was very welcoming and responsive. We would definitely rent this cabin again!"

"We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful cabin. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch, looking at the mountains and listening to all the birds after preparing our meals in the well equipped kitchen. Mark was very responsive when we contacted him with questions. Highly recommend!"

"This cabin was nice, suited our needs of 2 families of 4. Location was good, had all necessities, fenced in yard was great for kids and dog. There was an issue with the shower knob not working but we did tell them at the end and they said they would address it. Wish there would have been a tv in the living room and starter wood for the fire. Overall nice house."

"I and a few other Arizona trail hikers stayed here for a night to have beds to sleep in, a shower, and do some laundry. This place is great!! We were very well-rested the next day. I also really appreciated that they allow a dog, which enabled a fellow hiker with a dog to stay (for a small add-on fee). This place is also very walkable to "That Brewery & Hub", which accepts packages for Arizona trail hikers. Highly recommend this place!"
