"If you are looking for a hotel in Passau, this hotel has a great location. They do offer a parking place underground for 18 Euros. The entrance to the hotel is located on the side street. You can drive on the street, even though it looks like a pedestrian area. Just follow the directions on your map app. Be aware that if you do need to park your car you will be entering a narrow ramp leading down into a small lot. Just go slow. It’s not as bad as it looks. Obviously, a smaller car would have less of an issue. Passau was a great city to walk around in. Check out Journey cocktail bar and Cafe Anton for good coffee and cakes. We went to a restaurant by the bridge (can’t remember the name) and the food was wonderful. Enjoy!"

"The towels were not soft, but felt very rough. We would recommend replacing with a better quality of towel. The beds were too hard for us (Americans), but Europeans appear to prefer harder beds. Breakfast had lots of options. Would recommend adding gluten free breads if possible."

"The schloss ort is in one of the best locations to visit Passau historic old town. There was beautiful views of the river from our room and the breakfast and terrace areas. This made our stay v relaxing. The boutique hotel is lovely and bedrooms very comfortable with great bed . The breakfast was lovely even if a little expensive. The slight negatives were that no one welcomed us when we arrived at 7.30pm and a letter and key were left on reception desk but we did realise that the reception isn’t manned all the time. We had v little coffee and teas sachets and no milk in the room on arrival. The shower room was v small but shower worked really well . The toilet was long a corridor which is not most convenient but we realise that this is a historic property layout. Overall we had. Very lovely 2 nights nd would definitely recommend. "

"We had room with kitchen, that was fully equipped! Nice shower!! Comfortable bed! Only, sink in the bathroom is clogged! Something wrong with plumbing, should be fixed! Otherwise, very good location and was very good stay!!!"
