A beautiful home in a beautiful setting. The house is well appointed. The hosts have successfully anticipated their guests' needs. The premises were clean and the beds very comfortable after our long drive. My daughter especially enjoyed the reading nook in her bedroom and we all loved our time on the screened in porch. Great location! We enjoyed the state park for hiking, some small town shops and even a Clemson football game.
The Home on the Pond was a great little getaway for our family. The kids enjoyed fishing down at the pond. My favorite place was sitting on the screened in back porch listening to the birds and wind chimes.
The property was fantastic! It was clean, the layout was perfect for my elderly parents, and the beds were super comfortable (most important part after a long bike race). The view of the lake was great. This place felt very much felt like home away from home. My dad wanted to live there 😂
We had the best time visiting our kids and grandkids. The house is beautiful and had more then enough room for everyone We even spotted some deer each morning while having our coffee. The enclosed porch is a wonderful spot to relax and unwind.
We found the home spacious, well thought out design with a touch tech, and comfortable furnishings that are easy on the eye and soul. The property is a potpourri of various foliages but, our biggest surprise was the number or species of trees. My wife got a picture of a special guest on arrival, a young black-bear. Not too close but still very exciting for her.
Peaceful, relaxing, and amenity filled home in a country setting.
Peaceful, clean, and spacious home in a country setting filled with modern amenities and everything you could possibly need! The inspirational reading choices were an added bonus.
There is a nice handle in the guest shower/tub that is helpful for those needing a little bit of extra stability.
Early mornings were relaxing on the elevated, screened in porch. We saw a small bear and several deer in the distance.
The home is all on one level with no stairs to be concerned about.
I have out of town family that comes once every 5 years. This was the PERFECT spot for us to reconnect. Several had rooms at other locations, but stopped to visit amd were super impressed! The place is SECLUDED. Literally on a dead end at the very end of a nice neighborhood. No signal, make sure your GPS is loaded before you leave! But the property is absolutely worth it and ince yiu arrive the WIFI is great. Within a half hour drive of 3 lakes that are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. Definitely book the House on The Pond!
We really enjoyed the stay at the house. The appliances and refrigerator were really nice. We took advantage of the pond in the back, caught and released 2 small bass. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. The driveway is not a problem as some in the mountains can be an issue. There was a nice welcome tray with waters, coffee pods popcorn, a nice touch. The a/c system worked very well keeping us cool in the heat of the day. We never turned on the televisions which is a good indication that we kept busy. Must do in the area: Lake Jacosse - the most beautiful lake I have ever witnessed, we went with Matt from Joccassee Quest - just awesome. Went to Pretty place - a must see. We just relaxed which is just what we needed. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay.
We had a great time staying here. The kids fished in the pond almost nonstop and the close proximity to the state park made it a great home base for us for the weekend.
Check in and communication excellent. House was beautiful. We had a great time with reconnecting with our cousins. Our first time to experience South Carolina.
This home was perfect for our family getaway/gathering. The location was awesome and fall foliage beautiful! The home is beautiful, very well appointed and spacious.
