A Guesthouse at most- boutique mislead.

"Royal Mekong Boutique Hotel" ? Funny. It is joke to call this mid-range guesthouse (at best) a "boutique". From the negative non-responsive attitude of the front desk, to the ABSOLUTELY dirty bathroom with semi-working plumbing. To top the insult - the bus to Bangkok bookings they sold us was the worst. Down grade this place. There much better choices!

Confortable hotel with swimming pool near center

We are a group of 10 persons and we are quite satisfied of the general condition of the hotel. Gentle staff and a very clear swimming pool with bar. The hotel is located not too far from the National Museum and Royal Palace on the Mekong River.

Detta hotell representerade ej våra förväntningar. Rummet var mycket kalt, smutsigt och jag kände mig otrygg här. Badrummet var kalt, men fungerade. Personalen var inte speciellt trevlig och det var långt till bra restauranger och sevärdigheter. /ungt par.

フロントの愛想がない。部屋まで案内しただけで何も説明してくれなかった。プールがどこにあるのかわからなく、結局利用しなかった。部屋は全体的に薄暗く、窓はあるが隣の壁がすぐ横だったのでカーテンを開ける気になれなかった。裸足で歩いたら足の裏が真っ黒になった。

The condition of this hotel is fair and the swimming pool is located in different building a cross the street which is uncomfortable to use. Breakfast is only with eggs,slide bread, pan cake,fruits ,coffee and tea.

I was surprised that our room was situated near the pool area. excellent setting and everything described was present in the room. there were even books in the shelf for you to read. we were surprised that after coming back from a tour, they still managed to changed our bedding even we were only for a night stay. to those who would want to visit phnom penh for a short stay, book this hotel because it's walking distance to riverside and local restaurants in the city. KFC is just 100 meters away. staff are pleasant and allowed us the leave our luggage for free after check out. book this hotel for a great experience.

We stayed here with friends and wee booked from hotels.сom..photos and rooms are different,,when u want to go river side or night market need a tuk tuk,, walk about 15 minuts and not easy to find where u are,,,, ROOM::: I seen 3 LIZARDS ,, toilets really dirty shower is rubbish,,, many nice hotels around this hotel but Royal Mekong Never AGAIN......

Great small hotel, rooms upgraded very nicely. Very comfortable beds. Small but nice swimming pool is a great bonus. Only disadvantage is location is out a bit from main tourist areas. But if you don't mind walking a bit, no problem. Decent breakfast another good bonus

Wir hatten ein Standard-Zimmer für eine Nacht gebucht. Das Einchecken verlief schnell, freundlich und reibungslos. Im Zimmer mussten wir dann allerdings feststellen, dass dieses nicht sauber war. Wir fanden Ameisen, die über das Bett krabbelten und tote Kakerlaken im Zimmer und im Bad... Als wir uns bei der Rezeption beschwerten haben wir allerdings umgehend ein neues (besseres) Zimmer bekommen.

Apparently there were some nice rooms in the complex- I didn't have 1 - it was dingy, smelly & had lots of mosquitoes. When I complained I was told the only other room I could have didn't have AC that worked very well. The hotel was fairly empty & I was paying much more for my room then others who were staying in better rooms. Because I had prepaid I was stuck.

Good value, great location

The hotel is located in a great area. They have two buildings. We stayed in the older building the room was a bit tired and in need of a makeover. However it was a good size and everything you needed. The staff were helpful and Tuk Tuk's right outside ready to take you anywhere. We did walk into the riverside as it's not to far.
