Excellent hotel!

An exceptional hotel with lovely amenities and very friendly and helpful staff. Nicely located. The hotel will recommend a walking tour of the area, will call you a tuk tuk, and will arrange for a hotel car and driver and local guide to give you a private tour.

The hotel was good and the staff's we're courteous. The concierge was always empty without anyone. English-speaking staffs were not there. There's no one to guide tourist attractions when we approached traveldesk. The complementary tuktuk driver was very rude to tell me that he's busy in the afternoon and and told me to pickup your own transport. I never expected this to happen in a 5 star hotel. The complementary facilities available was not well communicated leaving me guessing. I wanted to spend my milestone celebration and was not satisfied for the money spent in this hotel.

Beautiful hotel. 95 year old well maintained property. Good location. Doormen wear traditional Cambodian costumes - very charming. Fresh roses and sweets awaiting us in room. Great service and good food. Only drawback is the bathroom products. They are in ceramic bottles. The shower gel got knocked off shelf and shattered all over shower floor. Products need to be in plastic containers.

It was a wonderful stay. Service was perfect. I was a bit upset because I confirmed with the manager several days before my trip that they would have the Superbowl available to watch on the TV. The hotel is lovely and clean, pretty and comfortable. My issue is with the service / training. Within the main restaurant in this apparent 5 star hotel I was very clear about being vegetarian and not eating meat or fish. Firstly I was delivered a dish with beef in that was not ordered, then after explaining again and being apologised to I was given a dish with fish sauce. All fairly unacceptable, especially with the prices being so much more expensive than they should be here, I had better service / understanding at the local street food vendors! During my stay I had booked a car to take me back to the airport, this was confirmed with a lovely handwritten note with my key. Upon checkout they seem to have misplaced my booking so had no transportation and was told to book my own. When my car arrived to the hotel I was told by the concierge that the car I had booked with the hotel was waiting for me.. a rather confusing and exhausting experience which just put a dampener on the day. The elephant bar is a lovely place to relax - sometimes, on other nights it appears to be a rowdy, loud unpleasant place to be with shouting guests / a heard of screaming children running around.

Perfect historic hotel in the heart of Phnom Phen

The Raffles Hotel is a stunning example of a colonial time. The entire atmosphere of the hotel is perfect. The breakfast choice and quality is absolutely great. The rooms are quiet and offer the peaceful athmosphere to relax from a busy work day. The Elephant Bar is a great place to relax in style. Perfect hotel to syay in Phnom Phen.
