It’s so close to the riverfront, lots of restaurants, convenience stores and bars. Basic but friendly staff and value for money around that area. We always stay there when passing through Phnom Penh.

RIGHT Property is right next to National Museum and Royal Palace. 20 meters down alley so street noise is not a problem. Huge rooms; several with balconies; always a desk. Wonderful staff. Has been my "go to" location in Phnom Penh for the last 5 years !
WRONG No elevator. Door closes around 10pm or 11pm, so have to wake up attendant. Staff can't resist forgetting something; sometimes a towel, sometimes coffee, sometimes toothbrush ... but generally only one item ! Also TV's are old non-flat screen (but work).
Hôtel décadent, petit déjeuner froid tous les matins .il fallait réclamer les serviettes le papier toilette, la chambre n’était pas faite même si on vous le promettait . Propreté de la salle de bains douteuse .Hôtel sans direction

Very underrated hotel. Perhaps a little rough around the edges, but staff is good (the maids deliver towels and fresh water every day). The breakfast doesn't change, but is very good - omelettes, fried eggs, fried potatoes, 3 kinds of fruit,, toast, and jam; as well as coffee and tea.
Lots of tuk tuk drivers around, quiet alley, great location one block from arts, Royal Palace, Cambodia Museum, Aspara dancers. Two blocks from Riverside.
Biggest drawback is that there is no elevator; but for me it was worth 3 flights of stairs.
This hotel was not as described. I paid for a room including breakfast, but then the hotel refused to honor it. They told me I had to pay for breakfast each morning. The staff was very rude about it. They basically said that they wouldn't do anything to help and that it was not their problem. The first room we stayed in for one night smelled like a sewer. Even later when we switched rooms, we could still smell it down the hall for the duration of the stay. Our room was only cleaned once in 8 days even though we put the please make up room sign on the door every day. Every day we had to ask for refills of water or toiletries. And on the day when we asked for our room to be cleaned, we had to ask 4 times and still no one came. There was just an incredible lack of communication at this place and zero customer service skills.
When I arrived, after a long late flight, they said they had no reservation for me, even though I had a confirmed and paid for reservation with Expedia to show them. They insisted I pay cash for the night, and at a much higher rate than I had been quoted, AND ALREADY PAID. The room was not clean and did not in any way resemble the photos on the website. I checked out the next morning and moved to another hotel and am still having trouble with Expedia about cancelling this awful reservation with this terrible hotel.
when we arrived to the hotel the receptionist said they don't work with hotels.com and we need to pay cash then request refund from hotels.com. I think its their way to avoid paying the fees. apparently they have been doing it for a while and hotels.com/expedia didn't take them offline yet so I am writing this to warn you from booking it here.
haven't seen the room but the lobby was very dark, dated, damp and had a certain smell. there was a construction site going on right next to the building and the area isn't nice either.
We had a prepaid booking for 5 nights.
When we arrived after 24 hours of non stop travel the desk clerk informs us that they no longer use hotels.com as their booking site and haven't for some time. I made the booking in September. After an extremely disagreeable discourse we paid the full price of the room using a credit card with a 3% levy.
This meant also I wouldn't be accruing any redeem nights for my stay.
I contacted hotels. com about this financial dilemma of me paying twice for a booked room.
I could only email as I am not travelling with my phone.
Hotels.com responded to my email but said I would have to ring hotels.com,
Somewhat difficult when you have no phone.
What else can I say, except when/if ever am I getting a refund from the payment I made on the hotels.com website?
