Me and my husband stayed here during homecoming week for Temple University. The property exceeded our expectations. It was clean and very cute. It did the job. We didn't have any trouble with parking. The property was very close to downtown which was great. I read reviews that state the property isn't in a safe area. I am from baltimore so I can't speak on that. It was safe to me. The room was fully equipped with everything you need to relax or cook if you wanted to.

This place was very clean, everything mentioned in the description was provided, in addition to brand new kitchen supplies and equipment. The apartment is only 10 minutes away from downtown and all of the Tourist attractions. The host was outstanding and was responding promptly to every request. I would definitely stay here again and would strongly recommend this place.

It was alright, is a rebuild departments, i had a great stay i just get here for a couple days most of my time i spent it in downtown area is not far from downtown you can move in local transportation but i choose uber for safety. I think the neighborhood is not safe at all but it work if your plan's are outside most of the time and you just come for rest.

Was told I could check in early and the day came around and I was retold that check in isn’t till 3pm even tho we had discussed me checking in early on the phone. Also had a major ant problem. Had no food in the room and there were ants, then had food one night and WAY more came. Also the shampoo, conditioner, and soap bottles were all empty.

It was clean and safe but the thermostat was set very very hot — I couldn’t find a way to turn it down so I had to sleep with the bed pushed up against the open window. Very uncomfortable.

The battery in the smoke detector was low and it was chirping when I entered the room. It was not apparent how to control the A/C. There was a lot of noise outside from people partying. I could not stay.

I have serious concerns about the hosts communication, and the rooms security and cleanliness. For starters, they require you to cashapp them a deposit before checking in, even through directly under the message Expedia tells you specifically to not pay using third party apps. Then they say they’ll send you check in info around 2:00pm and if you don’t they give you a number to call. After calling the number more than once and going to voicemail, I got a phone call from the host at 2:30pm saying he would text me check-in information in 10-15 minutes. I followed up with a text at 3:30pm because I still received nothing. He finally responded with check-in information at 4:30pm. When I arrived and entered through the 1st keypad door, the 2nd keypad door was not locked (remained unlocked throughout the trip). I went to my assigned room to find the door unlocked, bed slept in and messy, towels on the floor, dirty rug, clearly “lived in”. I immediately called the host multiple times and did not get an answer until I texted him. He assigned me to a new room that was 50 degrees and took several hours to warm up. The shower floor was dirty, shower curtain ripped, stains in the towels. The bed pillows were decorative pillows with pillow cases on them. I expressed concern about people on porch trying to get into the building without a code but got no response. The battery in my door lock also died and I was unable to lock the door from the outside for part of my trip.

The property owner/management was terrific, and very accommodating. The building is a recently renovated row house, and the studio was very clean. Unfortunately the property is situated in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood of Philadelphia (Philadelphia Police Department 22nd District). This is one of the highest crime areas in one of the most dangerous cities in the world, and it leads the pack for most violent crimes. In the first two nights of my stay I was close enough to hear two separate pew-pew battles. I can’t recommend the host and property more highly, but urge potential guests to research the property location prior to booking.

The phone number is useless. No one calls you back. You MIGHT get a message on the portal a week later! Demands cash app of $200 upon arrival. The customer must make the request to refund the security deposit if. If not, the money is not returned.
