The best thing about this place is the location. We were two blocks from the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and other historical sites. The apartment itself is laid out very nicely and has lots of potential, but our stay was affected by enough issues that I feel I need to note them. First of all there is no parking to speak of except a lot around the corner which is 35 a day. Yes there is street parking if you can find a spot, but you can’t leave your car there overnight so you will end up in the lot anyway. When we arrived the blinds were destroyed! There was no WiFi code listed anywhere and contact with the management company was futile in this matter. They would respond, but the password just kept coming through as a series of dashes. There was no remote for the bedroom tv and the toilet would not flush. We contacted the management company and they did send a remote and a repairman for the toilet, which we appreciated. The repairman was able to tell us the password for the WiFi. Paint on the bathroom ceiling was coming down where there had been a leak in the apartment above. The shower door opens in so you can’t turn the shower on without banging the shower head and you must get into the shower before you can turn it on. Two towels and two washcloths. Bring more if you need them. Washer broke with our clothes in it. Not repaired before we left. Only one drinking glass and one wine glass. Bring your own glasses if you need more. Have to open the stove to open dishwasher.
