A second dock, conveniently located by the kayaks, provides swimming access, making it a great spot for little ones to splash and play in the water. Phelps house

Beautiful house. Great views! Has all the amenities you could ask for. I should note the path down to the lake is quite steep and not for the faint of heart however you can drive a vehicle down it if need be.

Great Cabin

We are a group of fishermen that have been going on planned trips for 12 years. This was one of the nicest cabins we have stayed at. Had everything we have been looking for. Tons of beds, large table for all eight of us to sit, plenty of parking (with boat trailers), a dock where we parked three boats, which was a very short ride from the launch just down the street. We have this cabin already booked for next year and very well possible our go to for future fishing trips.

Family vacation

Beautiful home, although not baby proofed for 2 toddlers. A lot of breakable home decor that we had to move to keep the kids from getting hurt. Loved the remote location. Dock that guests can use is in very shallow water, had a difficult time with our boat. No power at the dock either so had to pull the boat each day to power up the trolling motor. Luckily the public boat ramp is very close by.

Home away from home

5 different households converged on the Bayside Secret for a few days of family connection. We didn’t have need of one thing!! The Bayside Secret is a fully functional home! Everything we needed was available (mixing bowls, serving spoons, knives, etc) which made meal preparation and execution so smooth. We also had plenty of room to have various activities going on as well as splintered conversations allowing for familial catch up. We went for runs and used the available kayaks more than once. There were plenty of towels available and even some lap blankets for the chilly evening.

2nd Trip to Bayside Secret

We had a group of 5 adults, 4 kids and one small dog stay there mid February. There was plenty of room in the house for all of us. The ice fishing was great and we were able to access the lake from the property using an ATV. The house has been updated with new carpet giving it a fresh clean feeling. The kitchen had everything we needed but a working toaster. We managed. I think this would be an amazing place to visit in the summer. But for us winter vacationers I do not think we’ll be back. We were all incredibly disappointed that the fireplace in the living room was off limits. Our best memories from the last trip were made in that room and without the fireplace the room was essentially useless because it was too cold to be in. It’s still a great place to stay, it just fell short of our expectations this year.
