"Sadly this hotel really needs love. it is run down, pool missing tiles plus no bar as advertised, and dangerous, loads of dead plants, electrical wires all over the place. restaurant empty BUT breakfast was good. so sad as used to be a wonderful little resort. remember there are NO TV's at this resort so its own company and lots of quality time.. that was perfect!"

"Beautiful beach, comfortable bed & good shower, clean & perfect for what we needed. Food was good in the Similan restaurant & breakfast also really good. Staff were friendly & helpful. Was a 400thb taxi ride into bang Niang night market so away from the centre but quiet for us & a short transfer to the pier for the early bird Similan island tour we booked in advance. Was perfect weather at Similan but cloudy & rainy when we got back so didn’t get any time on the beach but was certainly a...

"My stay was wonderful. The owners are the kindest, sweetest people you will ever meet. They were so helpful with anything I needed. The property is beautiful surrounded by mountains, jungle, and a shallow river to swim in. My tent was very cozy and had air conditioning which was really nice at night to sleep. The property is tucked away so it’s nice and quiet in a valley. Very reasonable price. I would highly recommend this campsite to anyone who enjoys camping. "

"The rooms are tree houses but the novelty wears off quickly as access is awkward and very little works as it should. They work full time repairing the place but nature is reclaiming it faster."

"We stayed for 3 nights and would have been happy to stay longer. Our room was excellent with everything we needed. There was plenty of choice for food in the restaurant, where we ate each night. The swimming pool was a great place to spend time at the end of a day out. Sia the manager was excellent and couldn't have been more helpful. I can highly recommend the Hotel Khao Sok and Spa."
