Holiday house situated directly on the water

The over 100-year-old Ilmhaus has been renovated and lovingly furnished for over one year and accommodates up to 12 adults. The original natural stone walls could be preserved. The Ilmhaus is very rural and central in the middle of Bavaria. The major cities of Munich, Nuremberg, Augsburg and Regensburg are all accessible within 1 hour. Special attractions such as the Altmühltal, Walhalla, Kloster Weltenburg and the thermal baths in Bad Gögging can be reached within 15-30 minutes.
In the Ilmhaus you will find peace and relaxation to recharge your batteries and enjoy your holiday. Biking or canoeing on the water, both can be started at the door.
From the 1. 12. 2017 right next to the Ilmhaus, the newly renovated Ilmhaus 2 for guests is available and can accommodate up to 6 people.

Enchanting cottage escape

We had a wonderful retreat into the heart of Germany at Imhaus Gaden. . The cottage is even better than the pictures, the decor is lovely. The town is very small but worth the drive, and a small town or two with stores are close by. Its a perfect place for a family retreat since it sleeps many. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at the Imhaus.

Uns hat es gefallen , für jeden ein Zimmer dabei! Die Woche war zwar ziemlich durchwachsen, von den Wetterbedingungen , aber wir haben trotzdem draußen gesessen und den Grill genutzt . Bis zu einer Stunde Autofahrt hat man so einige sehenswerte Ausflugsziele , wenn man noch die Fahrräder mit dabei hat , kann man super an der Donau entlang fahren und die Gegend genießen !

Das von außen beschauliche, kleine Häuschen zeigt sich als richtiges Raumwunder und bietet den Platz, den man braucht. Mit der Außenterrasse am Ufer der Ilm kann man es auch an heißen Tagen aushalten.

Das Haus ist schön, vor allem der Garten. Den jedoch konnten wir aufgrund der Mückenplage in diesem Sommer leider nicht nutzen. Die Ilm ist sehr schmal und zugewachsen, fürs Kanu nicht wirklich geeignet.

Super schönes Wochenende. Hatten SUB und Paddelboot mit, direkt vom hauseigenen Steg los....leider lagen werdend der Tour viele Bäume über der Ilm, sodass wir oft jonglieren mussten, damit wir weiter fahren konnten... Abenteuer...Spannung.... Spaß....

Wir (2 Familien, bestehend aus jeweils 3 Personen) haben in diesem Ferienhaus 1 Woche Herbsturlaub verbracht. Die Lage direkt an der Ilm ist idyllisch und ländlich. Es waren ausreichend Schlafzimmer vorhanden. Gestört hat uns folgendes: nur 1 Bad (das 2. Badezimmer ist lediglich eine Gästetoilette), ein Wohnzimmer mit einer bekleckerten Couch, auf der maximal 3 ,wenn es sich um sehr schlanke Menschen handelt, die sehr gerne eng sitzen ,auch 4 Personen Platz haben. Desweiteren befanden sich einzelne, kleine Sessel im Raum, die aber nicht ohne weiteres so gestellt werden konnten, dass wir gemeinsam um den Couchtisch sitzen konnten. Desweitern ließ auch aus unserer Sicht die Sauberkeit etwas zu wünschen übrig (z.B verstaubte Steckdosen, Spinnweben am Toasterstecker...)

Ruhige Lage mit kurzen Wegen zu Altmühltal, Regensburg...

schönes Haus mit vielen Schlafgelegenheiten, Badezimmer & separatem WC, schöner Außenbereich mit überdachter Sitzmöglichkeit, im August 2021 sehr viele Mücken draußen, laut Nachbarn wegen Donauhochwasser schlimmer als sonst. Schlafzimmer durch Mückennetze an den Fenstern recht gut geschützt.

Das kleine Ilmhaus ist wirklich ein Traum! Es ist wunderschön eingerichtet, sauber und sehr gemütlich. Wir waren 9 Mädels dort und hatten ein sehr schönes Wochenende. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat auch wunderbar geklappt! Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Danke für alles!
