Built at the beginning of the 20th century, the Herz-Jesu-Kirche or "Sacred Heart Church" in Koblenz is one of the most important Neo-Romanesque sacred buildings in Germany. Koblenz forms the northern limit of the UNESCO Rhine Gorge World Heritage Site.
