"Incredibly remote and rural location with the best located pool I've experienced! (light salt water too which was lovely) Very helpful and pleasant owners (Francoise & Giacomo) who also left us in private. We were looking for a few tranquil and relaxing days with access to coast/towns and mountains during the day - this surpassed our expectations! very ecological with solar power etc. Tip; take a swim or sit by the pool after dark, the sky at night is breathtaking - highly recommended."

The property itself was perfect for us, we were 5 in total, ages ranging from 75 to 13! Plenty of space both indoors and out and everything we could think of was provided! "We stayed for a month and really enjoyed the place. The house is a traditional French family home in a convenient village location. The house is well maintained and very well organised. Everything works. There is no airconditioning but the window shutters are mostly effective in keeping the house reasonably cool and well ventilated. (The exception was for a few days when we experienced a heatwave … with temperatures outside if 38-40C its probably not surprising that it was pretty uncomfortable...

"Een ruim huis, goed uitgeruste keuken. Grote terras met zwembad heeft een prachtig wijds uitzicht. Kinderen vermaken zich hier prima met tafeltennistafel, voetbaltafel en zwembad. Ook is er een kast vol spelletjes. In de omgeving is zeer veel te bezichtigen en te doen. Vanuit het huis kun je heerlijk wandelen en fietsen. Eigenaren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam, weten veel over de omgeving te vertellen. Mooi plekje waar je helemaal tot rust komt!"

"A wonderful gite in the most stunning countryside - beautiful views, wonderful wine and history all around with the Cathar castles and Carcassonne all close by. We had a wonderful week and wish we could have stayed in our tranquil little hideaway for ever. The gite was very clean and comfortable and well-equipped, we didn't want for anything. Annie-Claude was a wonderful hostess and was extremely helpful to us. When Willilam is older it would be great to bring him back to run around the hills..."

"Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine autour du 1er de l'an dans ce coin magnifique et cette maison très comfortable avec super bain nordique et piscine pour se rafraichir. Très bon acceuil, hotes très sympas. Le cadre est superbe. Nous avons fait des balades dans les environs, très peu fréquentés à cette période, avons même pris un bain à une cascade dans la rivière (certainement beaucoup plus fréquentée en été). Thermes malheureusement fermées, mais le bain nordique a bien compensé."
