Great cabin for a family weekend getaway right on the river. The cabin is clean and well stocked. Great location and a short drive to Leavenworth.

cabin location along the serene riverside.
Property was clean and quiet with plenty of privacy. I will note that the water has a bit of slime feel so id recommend bringing your own drinking water but Would definitely recommend a stay at this location

House near Leavenworth
Nice big house, beautiful view, with a great location. 15 min drive to Leavenworth and 15 min drive to the snow park sledding area. Beautiful view of the river in a serene environment.
We loved the location and proximity to Leavworth and the woodsy winter wonderland by the creek. There is plenty of space to spread out and ample beds for our very large family. Check in was a breeze. The interior is cozy and clean but nothing super modern. The only minor consideration not worthy of 5 stars was the state of the master tub which had paint peeling and door was off the hinge. All-in-all, we were happy with our retreat and would recommend it to others.
Beautiful home with a picturesque view of the Peshastin Creek. My only gripe is that the home had no A/C so during the afternoons it was over 80 degrees in the house. Other than that, we would love to return

Private Getaway
Loved the seclusion, private beach and sound of water rushing by could be heard in every room and level. Although steep stairs leading to beach not for anyone handicapped. Good internet connection and lots of tv viewing options. Kitchen well stocked and lots of room for everyone. Beds super comfy. Very quick response to correct an outside issue I called about.
We enjoyed this place so much! Everyone had fun playing in the creek and exploring the woods. Wild turkeys were pretty cool too! Loved all the wood interior.
** Difficulty seeing the "Blue" top of the mailboxes. Something more striking or colorful would be helpful.
In gratitude, The Miller Family & dogs
My family and I had a wonderful stay at this cabin in the woods. So happy it is dog friendly! The sights and sounds of the creek were so peaceful. The property is in great shape and we wanted for nothing. Plenty of towels, trash bags, toiletries, dishes, etc. I've stayed at a lot of places where I end up buying something that isn't available at the house. Not at this property, however. My family had a great time exploring the huge DVD collection. We are all over the age of 40 and like comfortable spaces. Comfortable seating for 6 in the dining room, living room and tv room. We were lucky to have missed a heat wave by one week. We all hope to stay here again!
Such a wonderful trip over Fourth of July! Nice to get dogs to a place where they feel safe from fireworks. The intention is to come back if the elders 55 to 65 want to climb up and down stairs to river. Beautiful river setting. Nice house . Well maintained. Outside has deferred maintenance. The second set of steps to river need maintenance, coy pond outside kitchen need to be removed or maintained as it draws so many bugs. Nobody seems to be caring for yard and decks. That’s tragic. Wonderful house. Wonderful stay for my family and dogs. Hot weather. If you have a portable ac bring it because it gets kinda miserable hot but cools over night nicely

Dangerous and dirty
We found some serious safety issues while staying. One of the steps down to the river broke as we were walking on it, and several other steps felt close to breaking. We found significant mold on the provided drink coasters and hair in the shower drains. Most importantly, the balusters in the loft railing above the living room are clearly not code and we were terrified when our 1-year-old found her way upstairs and nearly fell out. The deck is uncomfortable and slanted. The wifi was terribly slow. There was hair in the shower drains and we found mounds of garbage and dead bugs under the coffee table when shifting it slightly.
Overall it is a cute house with a good view, but there are significant safety issues that need to be addressed.
The property was beautiful and the sound of the river was so relaxing! We had a wonderful time there! Some things to note: the master suite is in a loft space that's open to the living room, so not a lot of privacy. Outside, the deck is doesn't have a good way to block off the oversized step area, so we couldn't just let our dogs be out with us, without them being on a leash (one of them is a runner) The internet was fine for normal use, but when my daughter needed to be on a zoom call, we all needed to stop using the internet in order for her to have uninterrupted service, but it was fine for streaming and everything else we needed to do. All of these things are just for information - nothing I mentioned detracted from our stay. We would definitely stay here again - especially in the winter - the area is beautiful and the snow covered trees were magical! Leavenworth is a short drive - we went daily to enjoy the Christmas festivities there. The kitchen had basically everything I needed to make home cooked meal our entire stay (I did bring a crock pot, as there's not one on the property) I asked several questions both before and during our stay and always received prompt, helpful replies. We had a GREAT stay!

Amazing family get away
Wonderful property! My kids want to come back again and again. Reading reviews, I pictured a "rougher" cabin experience, but it was fabulous. Kitchen was stocked well (main pain has a loose/wobbly handle, so bring your own), soaps/detergent/shampoos were great, linens & towels were wonderful, beds & pillows were heavenly.
The tadpoles in the little man-made pond were a ton of fun (the pond is super small and shallow, more of a large puddle, so anyone over toddler age would be safe in my opinion). My kids found a lizard and that was definitely a highlight.
Even without AC, we were able to manage the temperature just fine through open windows and fans (it was 80s when we were there). My kids loved watching "old "movies from the huge DVD collection.
Batteries are in desperate need of replacing. Most remotes didn't have them, or they were dead. Also, a picture guide that shows which remote is for which device would be nice. We figured it out.
The stairs to the river are intense. My adventurous 5-year-old couldn't do them without constant encouragement and help. The loose steps need to be fixed (rocks and wood blocks don't count). I misunderstood what "river access" meant. You go down the steep steps to the fire pit, but the river was super-fast, and the other properties are right there along the river too. So, you can "explore" about 100 feet. If it was just a bunch of adults that enjoy sitting and enjoying the ambiance of a fast river, it would be perfect.

Perfect location
This home is the perfect weekend getaway for fun! Right by the river, in the middle of the woods. House itself is charming, has plenty of space and amenities to enjoy. The driving instructions were clear and we were able to easily locate the house even in the night time.
We loved that house offers different sleeping arrangements at each level, but no bathroom at the ground floor. Generally the house seemed clean, but not thoroughly. There were bugs and spiders around, which could be expected in a house in the woods, but needs attention. Bed sheets were clean, but the blankets had large stains, hair and even holes. Again, hair on some of the towels and on the floor around the corners, giving the impression that only a quick touch-up was done after the last guests.
The kitchen is equipped with most things you would need, a toaster, coffee maker, full sized oven, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. Also, all the cleaning equipment was provided, including trash bags and dishwasher soap. Only two things were missing on our stay: a lighter/match to start fire with the wood burner and salt. Of course these are not the biggest things to miss, but you might need to be prepared especially for the lighter during the cold weather.
The space heaters and wood burner were effective and heated up the space quickly. But be careful with the wood burner, we woke up with mysterious alarms in the middle of the night but couldn't figure out before it stopped.
The house is right by the river and also offers great outdoor spaces, including a grill, multiple seating arrangements all around, and a hammock. From the balcony, you can take the stairs down to the river, which also offers another seating area. But the stairs were steep, narrow and had a couple loose ones! Definitely needs some repairs.
Overall, we loved the place and enjoyed our 2-night stay.
Very good vacation rental: the stream provided the perfect white noise for relaxing, the amenities were nice, and we felt like we could spread out and truly relax. 2 things to note: bring your own fooseball if you want to use the fooseball table, and if you plan on sleeping in the master bedroom bring an eye mask, since there are no curtains and a big window.
This was a wonderful place for our family to stay! Had all the room and amenities we needed. Only downside was no AC but, the place cooled off quick in the evening for comfort while sleeping.
First and for most the house is so outdated. The master bedroom upstairs is the most outdated. There were dirty socks under the futon, the bathroom had dirt on the floor and the tub looked like paint had spilled all over it. The kitchen faucet was broken, no paper towels, no complementary coffee. The garbage can needed some wd40 on it. The bedroom next to the bathroom the beds squeezed every time you moved. The house offered a wood burning stove but does not provide any wood to keep warm. The bedroom downstairs in the basement had mouse droppings in it. Needless to say the snow was beautiful but this place was terrible.
