"I liked the look of the Marchesina Hotel. Very spacious, easy flow, lots of areas to sit, Our particular room, a little needy for traveling tourists with suitcases and places to hang toiletrybag, towels. I would say a little upgrade is needed in respect to tourists needs in a oom."

"Property: Fantastic pool (large, deep with diving board) which was cleaned daily. Plenty of space in the kitchen and bedrooms with air conditioning throughout.Location: Beautiful views of Contursi Terme, interesting Italian hillside roads to access the villa (these got easier with experience!).Surrounding Area: Good access to the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii and Naples.Host: Salvatore is very accommodating and an impressive pizzaiolo (you must accept his offer to cook pizza in the wood-fired oven!)Overall we had a fantastic week, and our teenage children said it's the best summer holiday they've had! "Communication was a real problem. I wonder if staff were discouraged from trying to understand English. My Italian came from Google translate and even that was a disaster. Staff generally not friendly or helpful. Did not offer to assist bags up or down the hotel steps for guests in their senior years. WiFi practically useless. Kept dropping out "
