"We chose the Cimarron because of the quality, cleanliness and service the property is known for. Friday before check in, a family we're with received a call their room needed to be changed due to flooding. They were offered 2 king rooms, they declined because they're traveling with kids, so they stayed in the President's Suite. At no point was I contacted that there was an issue, so I assumed our room was not affected. Upon checking in, Brandon (manager) told me of the flooding, that no rooms were available, so my family was moved to another hotel in town. The Cimarron would refund my Expedia purchase and cover the cost of our stay at the other property. I was really taken back by this, because it not only does the lack of contact not live up to the service we expected from the Cimarron, but also because I knew there were at least two (2) king rooms available not even an hour earlier that our family members declined. I asked about this and was told because I was not a rewards member and booked through Expedia, my reservation was not a priority and was moved to the bottom of the list. I was speechless in the moment and agreed to look into the othe"

"The room was so gross. I don’t know why but the humidity in the room was disgusting and causing the hardwood floor to be Estee slimy. The walls were paper thin and could hear everything from the hallway and room next door. Staff was super friendly and kind. Breakfast was good. There was just no ventilation in the room or hotel itself and honestly would be extremely concerned about mold growth with that amount of humidity in the room/establishment/ ."

"Hotel is under renovation which wasn't mentioned when booking. Deadbolt on door was broken, bottom towel rod in bathroom hanging off, TV wasn't mounted all cords hanging out of wall. Lamps didn't work, staff couldn't send extra coffee pods (sent a bag of grounds) due to out of stock. Staff responded "your room was recently renovated so should be good. " Before we got to room, when we checked in, I asked about reserving another night (in case I wanted to stay an extra night) to stay with granddaughter in college and was told "sorry we're fully booked", good thing after staying the 1st night i wouldn't have wanted a second."

"Breakfast was great, pool was open and clean, facility was cleanand in order. Only draw back is the beds. They were sooo hard. I had a horrible nights sleep and my back was hurting something awful. Would have been perfect if the beds weren't so hard."
