Amrita Hotel

Amrita Hotel

8/10 Good
"The staff was excellent and very helpful and professional. The desk is open 24/7, so there is always someone there to help you if needed. The breakfast was outstanding, and you will certainly not leave hungry and there is lots of delicious food and all the coffee you can drink (freshly ground at that)! The room was clean and comfortable, and I was able to get very good sleep. The only issues that I had were that the refrigerator in the room didn’t work, and when it was brought up to the staff they seemed to already know that it had been an issue in the past. This could become an issue if someone buys perishable food from the store thinking that the refrigerator works. Also, the spout of the electric kettle was pretty grimy, and had a thick film of residue covering the screen on the spout. I boiled water but decided not to use it once I noticed the residue. Overall, it was a great stay, and I must recommend the food at Oskar’s. It’s absolutely fantastic and you can tell the chef takes pride in his or her craft."

This area offers straightforward access to the Baltic Sea coastline, known for its sandy beaches and dune landscapes. You'll find a mix of holiday homes and a few guesthouses. The village itself is small, with a few local eateries and shops primarily serving summer visitors. The general layout is spread out, with properties often located among pine forests close to the sea.

Couples looking for a relaxing beach holiday will find this area ideal. The quiet environment and natural beauty provide a ideal setting for strolls along the shore or simply unwinding by the sea. Many accommodations here offer direct beach access or are just a short walk away, making it convenient for enjoying the outdoors.

Families also benefit greatly from staying near the coast in Pērkone. The shallow waters of the Baltic Sea are generally suitable for children, and the expansive sandy beaches offer plenty of space for playing.
When is the best time to go to Pērkone?
