1st. Check in time is 4. We arrive in town with time to kill, so we did arrived at the hotel right at 4, (after receiving 2 emails from the hotel stating they were excited about our arrival) only to be told, they did not have any of the rooms ready because of a staffing issue. No offer for compensation, no offer of apology, just a we will take your info and call you when its ready. By 630 no call, I call 4 times, no answer. I return to the hotel. Again no apology,no compensation, just yes your room is ready, I asked for a later check out time and they could not due that due to policy and bookings. 2nd. Arrive to the room its cleanish but the floor is damp and linens feel damp, its the humidity. The AC is running but not really working to pull the humidity from the room. It is apparently a big enough problem that the metal surfaces in the room are all rusty. 3rd. Moldy shower, sandy floors, and used soap left in the bathroom area. 4th. 4 towels/2 wash clothes for a room that holds 6 people. 5th. TV remote was broken, held together with tape and will not turn off the TV or control the volume only change the channels. Lucky we weren't there for TV watching but it was on when we arrived to the room. 6th. Pool was clean but it poor shape, no towels or shade covers in pool area and the the surface needed resurfacing. Rusting around the handrails Only positive, its very close to the beach without being right on the beach.

The check-in process and automatic locks at the property were very confusing. I could not get through to an actual person. Also, the access to the beach is not nearly as close as it looks on a map. Other than that, it’s a beautiful property, with nice accommodations.

Was wonderful. Very clean! Everything made us happy!
