"Room smelled like earth or mold."

"Checked in and asked about coffee in room and front desk person said not o. Room but coffee in breakfast room 24 hours. She knew I was disappointed. Got in our room and it smelled of cigarettes. So back down to front desk for different room. She said she’d give us a room on first floor that was just updated. Got to room and was disappointed. The bathroom was updated with a new vanity and a new toilet that was the lowest I had ever seen. It was approximately 20” from the floor and it was leaking at the bottom and stained the grout brown at the floor. The tile grout on the entire. floor was very dirty and black. Kinda disgusting but it was 10:30 pm so we were staying but not happily. To make matters worse there was a sign on the desk that said if you want a kuerig in your room just ask the front desk. How ridiculous that the front desk didn’t offer when I voiced my displeasure about in room coffee. And to top it off, and I know it was a Saturday night and graduations in town, but the party in the next room didn’t end until 2am. I know this is long but we’ve stayed in lots of hotels in the past couple of years and I can’t remember being so unhappy."

"The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fairly good. The front step leading up to entrance of the hotel is in need of repair as the concrete is severely chipping away and is a tripping hazard "

"We really enjoyed our weekend away. Loved the hot tub and the view! Bed was comfy. Cabin was cute. Owners were very nice. Only complaint from the weekend would be the bathroom being a bit awkward. Otherwise we loved our stay! "

"7 guys stayed at the property. Clean house, beds were comfortable, nice having 3 bathrooms, kitchen had plenty of dishes/pots/pans, hot tub was big, big dining room table. Location was easily accessible with golf courses close. Location is quiet. Ping pong table and foosball table were fun. I would stay there again if we visited that area. Great value and the host communicated well."

"Thank you for hosting a fun family, spring break experience. The Barnapalooza truly has it all! however some of the amenities we were looking forward too - came up short. We were highly disappointed that the indoor pool did not work. We notified the host right away. Maintenance came over the following morning, however the pool never started working until that evening around 8PM. One of the biggest perks for our children was the pool, which unfortunately they were unable to use until the morning we were to checkout. Bummer. In addition, the hot tub had very little water in it when we first arrived, this made the jets spray 3 different people when trying to "turn off". I would think the hot tub would be checked prior to check in? We filled the hot tub from the house by running water with pots and pans from house to hot tub enough for it to run properly. With the pool being a cold plunge - the hot tub was a must.Big Buck Hunt the arcade game did not work. We found the guns that were in the laundry room but the arcade game unfortunately did not work.Overall, a very clean living space, core memories were made with a U of M victory, easter egg hunt, and wiffle ball game. I write this review, only to let you, the host, know so you can learn for future guests. We would definitely come back and truly appreciate your creative, exclusive, high end party spot. In Michigan! One of a kind. Loved the whiffleball, bball, football toss! I feel so grateful to have stayed here."

"The property was clean, easy process to check in, the cabin is cozy, WiFi services too notch"

"This place was very unkept and dirty throughout the property. We had ants all over the inside of the house crawling throughout. Many cobwebs were also seen. The shower had mold/mildew in a lot of the grout and the bathtub drain was dirty from previous use. The outside of the property had not been cleaned up in quite some time. The description leads you on to believe that it is actually waterfront and you have quick access to the lake. However, it’s across the street and there isn’t available access unless you find the public areas. There are several descriptors used to highlight amenities that is completely false. I had to ask to get check in instructions and didn’t receive those until 30 mins prior to when we could check in. The host was not very responsive to questions and the overall experience was extremely terrible. I tried contacting the host about our experience and never got a message back. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. This isn’t worth paying any amount of money for."
