Not truly located in the village of Gamberale. It is about 4 miles down the mountain side and is near the highway. The hotel itself isn't bad but has no surrounding amenities. May be good for a large family gathering.

Unpleasant aged personel.

An old fasion hotel. Only the young personal speak English. I don't like americans either but it is the international languaje. The personal at the restaurant were very unpleasant, either at Donner as at breakfast. If You don't like tourist, DONT HAVE A HOTEL.

Great view from balcony. Apartment was nice but water leaked through sliding door when it rained. Good access to beach but beware there are wild boars roaming beach area. We were disappointed the spa and restaurant were closed.
