"The location was good and very peaceful, but also close to the shopping area, which was nice. The staff were very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the bed which was shown at the time of booking was different from the beds available when we reached the hotel. We booked at this hotel specifically because we thought there would be one whole, solid double bed. Instead, the bed was made of two single beds pushed together, with no mattress pad on top. Apparently the hotel had just been renovated and the previous beds had been changed? Both of us have bad backs and sleeping on this sort of divided bed was absolutely horrible. So unfortunately, both of our backs were in a great deal of pain for the duration of our stay. "

"We loved our stay at this Vrbo in Giethoorn. It was great to live a little like those who are always living there. The use of the boat was a must as it gave us a feeling of what it is like to live in this area surrounded by water. I loved the tranquil feeling of going for a boat ride, and walking the paths along the houses. Thank you Bert and Marie!"

"Returning customer as i like this hotel and convenient for my purposes. However on this occasion there were noisy next room residents late at nught and this was followed by staff stacking bottles and crates almost underneath my room or so it seemed - then 2 other loud crash noises some time after midnight - a disturbed nights sleep - hope for better next visit."
