The Green Door

It was just what we were looking for clean,private and perfect amount of bedrooms.Also really enjoyed not having any mosquitoes around as we had a campfire in the evening.

Family getaway

We had a great experience here, the owners left amenities that I didn't even expect, such as plenty of coffee and toilet items etc. We came to play at silverlake sand dunes, it was only a half hour drive, which we drove our side by side to. We would definitely stay here again.

The Green Door Farmhouse

I would rate this home as a "6 star" property if I could. The communication with the host, accommodation cleanliness, and location were perfect. I will keep the Farmhouse bookmarked for future use when we're visiting the area.

We had 11 people and this house was just the right size. Very well kept, clean, and Charlene and her husband went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Very interesting property history. Would definitely book again!!

Michigan vacation

This home was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed staying in the peaceful and beautiful countryside setting. Everything was pretty close . We visited Ludington state park and biked around, rode Mac woods dune rides, ate ice cream at Whippy dips and visited a few lighthouses. Nice area! Can’t wait to go back again!

So nice, I'll review it twice!

We had a great extended stay at the green door farmhouse. Our group enjoyed the quiet area and the comfy decor. Plenty of room for a large group. We were in the area for work, but I plan on bringing the family back of there's an opening later in the summer or fall! Thanks again Charlene and Ralph!

Comfortable Farmhouse

We appreciated the cleanliness and convenience of this house. Everyone had their own room, and we enjoyed the table hockey game upstairs. We cooked ourselves dinner with utensils from the kitchen and sat around the dining room table. Thank you for a great stay.

Nicely Renovated Historic Farmhouse

The house was wonderful, we enjoyed it so much, the beds were very comfortable, the extra touches like the "farm fresh" eggs & milk, the Keurig coffee maker, etc. were greatly appreciated. Nicely decorated. Would recommend this rental. Hiking trails & beach at Ludington St. Park, & kayaking at Henry's in Scottville too.

Wonderful experience!

Our friend group visited the Ludington/Pentwater area and stayed at The Green Door Farmhouse. After a day of winter outdoor activities we enjoyed retreating back to this cozy, historic home away from home. The house was very clean and tastefully decorated. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed some of the "extras" this property had to offer. Will definitely stay here again when in the area!

A dream vacation home!

Clean and private! The house is as cute as can be. If you come at a really hot time of year, the air conditioning might not be strong enough, but we had no issues in September. There are plenty of fans.

Nice touches

We had a wonderful stay at the Green Door Farmhouse. We were able to relax on the front porch and visit with our family. They supplied food for us to prepare a great breakfast and we liked the way things were labeled so there was no searching for the correct light switch or where to find a dinner plate. It was in a great location if you were planning on day trips to Manistee or Lundington.

Quiet and comfy!

Don't pass this one up! The property is awesome, the owners are great, and the house is very well kept. A group of us came up here for work, and it's a great place to come home to and cook a good meal and relax. Lots of extras too. We liked it so much we extended our stay! I'll probably even bring my family up this summer.
