We paid $1904 for the week and it was a disaster. When we arrived on Saturday around 5pm we checked in and our rental was steal being cleaned. We advised the lady to take her time. She comes out in 5 minutes and states she is done. The floors downstairs had not been swept. The bathtubs had hair in them. It was not clean. Then we realize the TV in the living room had no sound, the refrigerator doesn’t work and the hot water gets maybe lukewarm. I call them and they come on Monday and fix the TV. The refrigerator needs a new part, they fix it onThursday evening. Keep in mind we go home Saturday morning. One time they bring 2 bags of ice, that was on Monday. We spent $300 on food because we were going to cook in the room. We lost around $150 of it. All they ever said was sorry and we are at the mercy of our vendors. Meanwhile they have 20t pods sitting around with new appliances but we couldn’t have one. The water was never fixed, so I bathed a special needs kid, in cold water. Many light fixtures and plus had no covers on them. The pictures were crammed around and not hung up. We paid $1904 for a $600 rental. But they did give me $200 back which they felt was generous and I took it as a joke. The only good thing was the pool and the tiki bar had okay food but a little pricey. It is not fair from the beach but the renovations make it hard to get around the property. The workers will stand or park their golf carts in the middle of the road and look at you like your the problem. We had a terrible time. We will never stay at the Purple Parrot again! Pay more and stay somewhere with nice amenities that work. Also we’re you can get someone to call you back. This place was a nightmare fromThe moment we arrived!!!
