Morning Star earned its name from the breathtaking sunrise views over Navarre Beach. Located on the 20th floor of Tower Two at Portofino Island Resort, this east-facing condo offers a bright, serene start to every day. We’ve proudly managed this unit for nearly a decade, and it has many 5-star reviews from happy guests who return year after year.

Portofino!!!!

The property was amazing. We stayed in the 2nd tower on the 20th floor, facing east. The view can be seen from every room. My only complaint is that I had to leave. I'm having discussions now with my girlfriend to go back this weekend!

Portofino Resort - yet secluded

A great spot to feel isolated with unobstructed views of the gulf and sound, yet all the conveniences of the resort and Pensacola Beach! This place has become our favorite for beach getaways.

Absolute Dream location

Such a perfect, special place that we treasure our times at year after year!! Mary is wonderful to work with, always super helpful and quick response, available at a drop of a hat!! The place itself is incredible!! The best room at the resort and pictures do not do it justice!! We never need a thing except more time to enjoy!! Looking forward to many more years to come!!

We love Portofino!

Second time staying at this specific property at Portofino and it is very well stocked. The view is amazing. The furnishings are a little tired and the beds could use new mattresses, but the price is right! Mary is quick to respond and Jeff takes care of whatever you need fixed right away! We will be staying again soon! It is my favorite place in FL!

Great location!

We love Portofino and always enjoy staying here. Having extra beach chairs, boards etc is a nice touch as well as detergent for dishes and clothes. Would definitely recommend this condo and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

2nd stay at this property and it provided a great respite. I already knew Mary keeps this beautiful condo stocked with everything you could possibly need. I highly recommend Union Public House in Pensacola. World-class meal of a lifetime. Portofino has excellent restaurants, as well. I'll book again!

Very relaxing resort!

Great resort if you want to stay on property for most of your trip. Bar and restaurant on site, shop with Starbucks and common needed items available. If you do want to take a short ride to town, Flonders is the best seafood around! Plenty of activities to get into as well.

Terrific getaway!

The resort has so much to do, the view is amazing, and the proximity to Opal Beach and all that Pensacola beach has to offer make this a terrific getaway location. Hosts communicated very well and made sure we had all we needed.

Amazing anniversary stay

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay - the sunrise was so beautiful we found ourselves waking early just so we wouldn't miss it! The location is so convenient and great amenities! This was not our first stay at Portofino, and I hope it won't be our last. Would stay in this unit again.

Nice property. Wonderful views of the Gulf and the Sound. Well equipped kitchen. Only complaint is if you like a firm mattress this is not the place for you. Mattresses in both bedrooms need to be taken away and burned.

Fantastic View, woderful unit

This is my second time staying at the Portofino Resort. My husband and I enjoyed our stay despite the rainy weather. The condo is spacious and comfortable, with an amazing unobstructed view. You just can't beat the imenities, spa, indoor and out door pool(s), pool side bar and onsite resturant.

Well set up for guests. Great location, beautiful view of the Gulf and the Sound. Kitchen pretty much had everything needed. Only complaint was very uncomfortable mattress on each bed, and too many throw pillows.

Great condo

Stayed for a week with my family and a group of friends. Mary was very helpful, acommadating, and kind. We had the best view and everything we needed from paper towels to laundry detergent was provided. 3rd time staying at Portofino island and 2nd time at this particular condo.

Best Vacation Ever

I cant say enough good things about this condo! We stayed for a week and it really does have the items that make it feel so much like home. No need to bring Trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, tp, laundry soap, beach chairs or toys as this is all provided by the condo. I loved watching the morning sunrises to watching the moon make her appearance nightly over the Gulf! The view from the balcony were amazing even when a storm approached! The communication with Mary was amazing and it made it feel like we were renting from a friend! Would definitely recommend this condo to anyone and I would love to come back to this very location when we come back down to the panhandle in the future, wonderful memories were made this week!!!!

Still Our Favorite Stay

This was our second vacation at this condo because we loved it so much the first time we stayed. Again, it was absolutely perfect and beautiful. But unlike last time, the weather was not perfect and the beach had double red flags all week. Fortunately, Portofino offers a private beach on the portside with a lot of fun activities! We enjoyed all the resort had to offer this time around and still had a fantastic vacation! Mary is also the best host. She had recommendations for us and was available for any issues we had - which we didn't. The view is amazing from the condo and the resort makes you feel very exclusive.

Red, White & Blue Week

The condo was beautifully furnished with many added extras included which was very nice. Kitchen had everything we needed and the grill was so convenient. The only thing I would upgrade is the blender. We went and bought one to meet our needs, no big deal. If you plan on making margarita’s etc… the current one will not work. We went to see the blue angels at the pier on Thursday, but were able to catch part of the show the other days on the beach at Portofino which was really nice. Beds, furnishings were all really comfortable. I would defiantly stay here again.

Best Vacation Yet!!

We had an amazing time!! The views are spectacular!! Watched the sun rise daily! The home was spotless!! And beautiful! We had everything we needed right at the house - kitchen supplies and beach equipment! It gave us a little extra room in the car which was greatly appreciated!! Mary was always a text away to answer questions and keep us updated! The resort was beautiful and nicely landscaped. All the staff were friendly. The beach,sound, and amenities were all within walking distance. My kids are asking when we can go back. Loved every minute!!
