Magical Forest Cabin- Secluded Retreat Near Beach

"Staying at this immaculately clean charming property in the woods was fabulous. It was quiet and had every possible amenity and thing you could need. The beds were comfortable and I loved sitting on the porch reading into the late evening. The lights hung around parts of the property were magical. The only concern I would have is the ceiling in the loft bedroom, although beautiful, is very low. At 83 I had no problem climbing the stairs and stooping to get to the comfortable bed but other adults might. I hope to return and enjoy this beautiful home!!!!"

"Beautiful setting. The provided kayaks were great. We enjoyed paddling out into Carr Inlet and were joined by sea lions, bald eagles and more. I would add a couple more adult life vests as the provided ones were more for a family of 4 with kids, not 4 adults but that's a minor thing. The cabin is great and evenings were great in the hot tub or using the fire pit. A tv in the living room might be a plus, but who needs it with the deck and more. Easy to find. Secluded from traffic, but close enough to Gig Harbor that it wasn't too bad of a drive. Would definitely book again."

"The houses and ground are wonderful. The low bank waterfront made access to the water easy. Some of the kayaks are heavy so be sure you have two people to carry them especially at low tide. We had plenty of space for everyone, and it is nice to have the separate kitchens for our diverse family. The gas stove in the main house does have to be lit manually, so be sure that older children who want to cook have supervision. We all enjoyed the details of the main house. Be sure to close the lower windows in the kitchen at night, or the sprinklers will make the floor wet. The sport court converts easily from pickle ball to basketball and there was lots of room for games of catch with our softball player. We had a very low tide and really enjoyed the many, many shells and watching all the baby crabs fight. One negative for our stay, was that it was very hot for a couple of days. The portable AC units in the main house could not keep up at all and the compressor for the AC was not functioning. We opted to leave the last evening rather than stay another night in very hot rooms."

"We had a wonderful time here! The view is so lovely, the pictures really don’t do it justice. We were here with our family and the groomsmen for my son’s wedding and it was the perfect place to stay! The kitchen was well stocked. The rooms and beds were comfortable. The outdoor area was perfect for hanging out and eating. We happened to have wonderful weather while we were here and ate most of our meals outside. The kids also loved using the kayaks. We were entertained by watching the ferry come and go and spotting birds. There were some issues the day we checked in with the Vrbo site sending out info, but the lovely host sent me a quick text and got us all the info we needed to get checked in. All in all a 5 star stay!"
