"Friendly staff and clean room. Nice size bathroom, tasty breakfast"

"We stayed 2 nights and had a good night's sleep both nights. We had breakfast on the last morning, and that was excellent. The hotel is being refurbished externally and is having a new roof, so the building is covered in scaffolding. Clearly, this isn't attractive; however, it shows the hotel is taking its final appearance seriously and ensuring that the hotel is in good condition. "

"Our room was an outdated, slanted roof room with just enough space for a double bed. The bathroom was something out of the 70's and this is not reflected in the photographs of the property. The room was clean but the windows glazing had blown and was growing mushrooms inside the pain. My partner stood on a nail in the room and when reception was told about this they did not care or react as if it was unheard of. When I asked about a partial refund I was told that 'It was good enough to sleep there' I had not wanted to complain at the time of check in as we had been traveling all day and not got to the hotel until 11pm! NEVER AGAIN"

"We have never been to a better hotel in our lives. From our first connection to the hotel on Friday to leaving today (Sunday) we have had a wonderful time. All of the staff were so professional & helpful all the time we were there. We will certainly go there again should the occasion arrive. The price was reasonable. The service was exceptional."

"The room was lovely clean and warm. Dinner was one of the best meals my wife and I have enjoyed for some time and the staff were very friendly,helpful and welcoming. We will return there again and would definitely recommend it."
