This place was everything and more we had hoped for. Not only are the views from the cabin stunning but the host, Michelle, is an absolute amazing person. She communicated with us the entire time and was there for us whenever we had any questions. The cabin was beautiful and very clean!
A bit of a drive but views are worth it! The house was clean and well stocked! My son did a little fishing and we watched wildlife in the field late evening. This place is what we would call the true Montana experience.
Absolutely amazing. Peaceful. Beautiful. Everything was perfect: the views, the sunsets, the beds, the showers, the supplies…
We visited with our teen/adult son and daughters. We did several hikes: one almost 4 hours long. The views are stunning. We played some cribbage and scrabble. My daughters made up names for the horses. Would definitely recommend.
Wow. What a beautiful piece of property to stay on. I really felt like I got the true Montana experience. I loved walking around the property and seeing all the beautiful wildlife! The cabin has everything you need and you can tell it is a true family owned cabin rather than owned by a company - it just had the personal touches you wanted.
If you are looking for a beautiful secluded cabin surrounded by farmlife, then this is the spot for you. Many people use it as a hunting cabin, but we enjoyed coming home to the cabin after a long day at Glacier, sitting on the porch and reading or drinking coffee the next morning.
When looking for a place to stay for our first trip to Montana to visit Glacier National Park, this gem caught our eye. We knew it was off the beaten path a bit, but in exchange for a true Montana ranch experience as opposed to an ordinary hotel room or city apartment outside of the park. The home itself was lovely. A perfect combination of a rustic cabin with modern amenities and warm and welcoming touches. The scenery surrounding us was so vastly different from the coastal landscape of our home. It was just beautiful and so peaceful; the perfect place to return to after hiking in Glacier. Thank you for a most memorable stay!
If you ever wondered what it would feel like to live on a Montana Ranch now is your chance. Views as far as the eye can see, wildlife, peaceful, quiet, relaxing, exploring, and all in an updated restored cabin that offers a great cozy place to relax after a day hiking in Glacier NP and... it has everything you need. On the days you just want to hang out there is plenty of room to roam around the ranch or relax on the porch and feel the cool breeze. It is a drive down from the main road but it is worth it! Michelle and John went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We have never stayed in a VRBO that allowed us to have this unique experience. Highly recommend and can't say enough good things about the hosts. They made it even better. After spending a week there I didn't want to leave!
Beautiful cabin!!! Very clean, cozy and well stocked! Breathtaking views from property of Glacier and very private! Highly recommend to experience the serenity and peace that this property provides! Easy check in/out process and great communication with owners! We felt very safe and would return again!
We stayed 3 nights and visited Glacier N.P. On our second day. This cabin gave us peace and quiet. We hiked to the waterfall near the back of the property, fished and saw a lot of wildlife. P.S. the beds were soo comfortable!
Beautiful ranch in the middle of nowhere! So remote and so beautiful and tranquil. It’s not close to anything or anyone. A great spot to really get away from it all! Property managers are such nice people as well. We loved our stay!
My whole experience at the ranch was magical. First I’d like to express how inviting and accommodating Michelle and Bill were. They made me feel at home and helped me with any questions I had. The property is amazing and you could spend forever exploring the surrounding area. Watching the stars, and the wildlife kept me occupied throughout my stay and I cannot wait to come back!
As long as you understand there is no one around and the nearest store is not close, this place is amazing. So much area to roam free. We watched wildlife, fished, hiked… then we took trips to Glacier as well. The cabin is very well stocked and has so many personal touches to make it a home and not just a sterile living space.
You don't choose the ranch life. The ranch life chooses you.
Maybe I am not a good photographer but photos cannot do justice to this place. This was our first experience living on a ranch and boy was it special. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Our dog made her first horse friend. Is it far away from everything? Yes. But thats the whole point. We made the trip to Glacier national park a few times and it was incredible. But honestly I am going to miss the ranch more. I would love to come back if Michelle and Bill would have us.
Let me start off by saying that if you are the “bougie” type of person who needs high end amenities, 1000 count Egyptian sheets, lots of local dining and entertainment options, etc., you will be miserable at this property. However if you are someone (like me) who is looking for a real Montana ranch experience, this property is absolutely perfect. The building itself is an authentic and rustic cabin situated on hundreds (if not thousands) of gorgeous, unspoiled and undeveloped acres with incredible views of the Rocky Mountains from the front porch. The cabin itself was somewhat small, but had plenty of beds (enough for up to 8 people) and was very clean. The availability of a washer and dryer was also nice, especially to wash our clothes after long days of hiking the east side of Glacier. During our stay we saw mule deer, a wolverine, chipmunks, ground squirrels, tons of cows, and rabbits. There are also 5-6 friendly horses on the property who love attention. Thank you Michelle for the privilege of staying at your amazing property. We will definitely be back!
Beautiful horses in the corral were there to greet us. A passing rainstorm also greeted us. We sat under the covered porch welcoming the cool fresh air and listened to the aspen leaves rustle in the wind. The kitchen had all the essentials as did the rest of the house.
Our german shepherd loved playing in all the nearby water sources. This place was very clean and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.
Michelle was wonderful with communication as I was having difficulties with the vrbo site/email. She gave me all the info I needed for the rental and she was very helpful and appreciated.
We could not have been more impressed with the rugged beauty of the location, the graciousness of the owners and their very comfortable cabin! Michelle & Jon accommodated a change in plans without any problem, were super responsive and showed kindness throughout the booking process and our stay. The cabin is immaculate, well-stocked and well-cared for. Local Dupuyer general store and Buffalo Joe's restaurant did not disappoint and the Sunday Steak Night @ Dusty's in Brady was off-the-hook delicious. Great stay - highly recommend for anyone looking to get off the grid and enjoy God's country.
Beautiful cabin, clean and comfortable. Just what I like, end of the road bordering wilderness.
Loved this place. You can walk or hike for miles, so peaceful because nobody is there except some horsed and very polite cowboys who are working out on the land moving cattle or cutting hay. There is a public access road nearby that will take you up into the mountains for some sightseeing or fly fishing. A very quiet and beautiful and special property.
Michelle was wonderful. Very fast response time and super helpful. Lovely getting away from it all, yet plenty to do. It was fun exploring the property and seeing moose, coyotes, etc. We were escaping the city and 4th of July fireworks and couldn't have been happier. So quiet and dark which made it easy to relax and enjoy our stay. The dogs had a blast swimming in mountain streams and running in lovely meadows. I highly recommend this gem!
We really enjoyed our stay. We had deer in the yard almost every evening. Saw mule deer, pronghorns and a badge on our drive into the ranch. Enjoyed the sunsets and hikes we took. Went to Glacier National Park a few times during our stay. Definitely recommend this place to stay to get away from it all!
We loved our stay. The cabin was extremely clean and we enjoyed the remote location. Michelle was a pleasure to work with and helped us with every detail. Highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing get away.
Book it. Trust me you will love it! It’s exactly what you see in the pictures but even more beautiful. The mountains are huge and majestic. The cabin is rustic and modern all in one. We went for a walk through the pasture and into the foothills and had a fabulous day exploring. Sunsets were perfect. Our host was so helpful and accommodating - thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful property!
