Clean but like some old buildings, plumbing is a challenge. A shower where it was impossible not to spill water on the floor! But the room was clean and comfortable.

Stayed for one night, had food in the restaurant which was lovely and the staff made me feel very welcome, which was reassuring especially as I was travelling on my own. Romantic quirky cottage in Hay On Wye
The host were extremely helpful and responsive. The cottage was well located for Hay On Wye, it was also well equipped. The only slight negative is the road noise if you aren't used to it.

House was better than expected. It was superb. Great for a family get together. Kitchen was large, lounge was large, garden was large and everything was just perfect.
