Excellent hospitality, wonderful personal service made our stay a very enjoyable experience. We will definitely be staying there on our next visit in the near future. The owners, are very friendly, personable and leaving was like missing members of family. I have recommended the Edgehill Manor Guesthouse to my relatives and friends.

Avoid this place at all costs sun standard
Arrived between check in hours no meet & greet as described The room had one glass NO cutlery or basic facilities inc plates etc yet a microwave provided Whole place was shabby, run down nothing like the photos on the site Avoid it and spend a little more money elsewhere to enjoy a relaxing,comfortable time!!!

Dear Peter,Your reservation was for three nights with us, I am sorry that you did not have a comfortable stay at our establishment. I would like to address your concerns.Our hours of operation are from 9-5 pm. Should guests need to check- in outside of those hours, they would let us know in advance and we would make arrangement for a self check in. In every unit we provide a mini fridge and a microwave for the convienient of our guests. Plates, cutleries, glasswares are not provided in the rooms unless it is a unit with a kitchen, which we have available 9 units with kitchen.If you needed cutlery, dishes ect, could have ask us for them through email, phone call, Whatsapp. We would have happily provided them to you from our stock room.Our units with kitchen are price a little more than our Deluxe unit and would have afforded all the ammenities you were looking for but unfortunately you reserved a budget room.We wish you had voiced your concerns while you were with us, we could have assisted and made your stay with us more comfortable.Lana

Lovely Guest House in convenient location
We stayed during the low season with not many other guests and as such, had many interactions with the property owner (all great). We had two requests and all solved quickly to our satisfaction. Property convenient to waterfront and downtown. Did not use the pool, but looked lovely.

The room was spacious and had a lovely balcony. I also appreciated the small fridge and microwave. The room is in need of updating, and the house as a whole smelled damp. But the location was convenient and it was quiet.

This was a last minute booking as our flight got cancelled due to the hurricane, it was pleasant enough, didn’t realize not all rooms had a kitchenette and I brought some groceries. They were kind enough to find me a toaster and the room did have a microwave and fridge. The pool was closed all the time we were there due to the hurricane. Nice big room with a balcony, and a short walk down the hill to hamilton. No elevator so be warned if you have lots of luggage.

Lana…The owner was very nice and really helpful, she couldn't do enough for us. The guesthouse was a 5-6 minute walk into Hamilton to shops and restaurants. The room had a small kitchen also. Lana moved us as the stairs were abit much for my spouse, he had surgery previously.

The Guest House is within walking distance of the Waterfront offices on Pitts Bay Road. The room was clean, with everything you need. Good location. Communication with the manager was very good.

Great location, friendly and courteous staff. Nice rooms with view and balconies to sit down and enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine watching the sunset. Only a couple of blocks from Front Street in Hamilton.

Good place, breakfast a little late
Good location, we had our private little porch outside, nice and quiet, a little walk to the main town. The only problem we had was breakfast was always served after we left to start our day.

Locations is good, but property is worn out. Smell moldy and bed sheets were not fresh, shower drain was clogged, pool was empty. Bermuda is an expensive place but I would have paid double have I known the state of the property.

The property is set up as a traditional bed and breakfast or lodge feel. It does not have super modern updates, but it does offer modern conveniences (cable, wifi, air conditioning/ dehumidifier in every room, breakfast) and you can NOT beat the staff and location, especially for the price!

Property is close to Hamilton, Ferry to Docklands, scooter rental, quiet area. Time of year I visited did not use pool, looked nice. The property manager Lana was great help and was able to help with all our needs. Plenty of info in foyer on island activities. Look forward to another visit to Edgehill Manor

Overpriced unwelcoming but well kept guest house
Overall the stay was OK, but far short of expectations for the price. Arriving late, the key was left pinned to the front door. We booked the standard room but were upgraded to the “executive” room. WiFi was very good. The room was clean and beautifully kept. The guest house’s owner makes every effort to minimise cost, and this is reflect with a number of passive aggressive notes around the room and in the literature, such as “do not turn the A/C below 71 degrees” and “whatever you do...don’t change the mode as it screws up the whole system”. Similar notes about not leaving lights on, not marking the carpet etc really don’t give a good impression as a guest. They had left baby wipes in the bathroom with a note “do not steal the packet”; undoubtedly they’d be better not leaving any in the room at all. With such apparent attention to detail, you’d think they’d fix the balcony door handle which routinely flies off, or the shower which had an oscillating temperature. The tap water in the room didn’t run clear - whilst I would usually drink Bermuda tap water, not here. They had left tiny bottles of water in the room which could be purchased for $2 with cash or $2.50 on card, and other overpriced snacks. The breakfast was a disgrace. There is a flask of coffee, tap water, supermarket “muffin mix” muffins and homemade yoghurt (which was nice). Must be the most limited continental breakfast buffet ever. Check out was tricky as I couldn’t find anyone or anywhere to leave the key.

I like the proximity of the guest house to the center of Hamilton, where lots of activities and shopping are. There's also a grocery store near the property (though it's VERY expensive). However, there are no sidewalks immediately near the property, which is up on a hill (hence it's name), and it's located on a sharp bend, at the top of a hill. That makes for a very nervous journey avoiding cars, to and from the 10 minute walk to town. The property DEFINITELY needs an upgrade. The carpets in my room were stained. There were substantial ants and ocassional other bugs in my room (which the owner acknowledged there were upon my arrival), but, it is a tropical island, so I could live with it, but my daughters, not. The bathroom and room, overall, were in need of a renovation. The owner presented me with the full receipt that she'd charged to my credit card upon arrival. I thought that typically, you get charged and presented with your receipt after services are rendered (the last day). The owner is a small business person. She was nice, and I appreciated my conversations with her, but she definitely made it clear through her cleaning staff, that we'd be charged for things (e.g., if the beach towels we requested weren't returned, if towels in the room got makeup on them, as that couldn't be properly removed). While I understand she's a small business, getting this information within 24 hours or so of arrival didn't make me feel very appreciated and welcomed. Overall a 2.5

It's a typical guest house. In general it was OK, but coming across several ants in the room and on the bed during the night was quite off-putting. Taxis are readily available a 5minute walk down the hill at the Princess hotel, if you don't want to walk you'd have to call and wait for one to show up at the guest house. AC worked well thank goodness.

Although it's a relatively plain bed and breakfast with some outdated features, the staff are VERY nice and the views from the balconies are breathtaking. I did not use the pool, because it's a bit early in the season, but it was a nice set up, too.

It's a luvly B&B. Old & warmly characterful main building. Helpful & friendly staff. Ideally located for access to town; luvly neighbourhood. Clean & spacious rooms. Pool ! I would just want more of a breakfast offer but what is supplied is adequate. Highly recommended ☺️☺️

The place was ok. The room could use an overhaul. I had to phone the owner to drive down and check me in because no on-sight staff was around when I arrived. The shower drain area was rusted and old. Wifi service did not work my second night so I couldn't get any work done. The owner was very nice but I will not be booking again.

Very nice stay.
Hotel room was comfortable and a very nice size, bathrooms seem to have been recently upgraded spacious and airy. Very comfortable hotel and close to the town. Only wished they had some coffee and creamers available in the room.Since I was there only for four nights I did not want to go grocery shopping. Would stay there again.
