If you are looking for a quiet stay in the Wisconsin north woods this is the place for you. Our room was clean and spacious. Nice indoor pool area and great views from the room. Very relaxing! Only complaint is it would be nice to see a little more attention to the garden area around the rooms patios.

Wonderfully historic.

Wonderful historic hotel. Lots of amenties for fee, and amazing staff. If you enjoy golfing, atv riding, biking, hiking, and fishing and boating this is the place for you. It is a bit of grid, not great phone service . Only had internet in hallway or the lobby.

It is a beautiful remotely located in northern wisconsin and the unprepared slot across the river. The staff was extremely helpful.The only drawback was communication.Your cell phone did not work because the lack of a tower near the resort. And if they had a pet friendly end that would've been exceptional I could have brought my leader lab. Is awesome memories were made!

Grounds are beautiful and clean but could use some updates. Amenities advertised are not all available. Only 1 restaurant on grounds and it was either too understaffed too open or out of things. Fine for a comfortable place to stay and I'm sure great for a roubd of golf but doesn't really justify the "resort" status or fee.

Clean spacious room, comfortable bed, and a beautiful view from the balcony. The pool area was wonderful and we loved that it’s adults only after 10pm, since we were visiting without the kids for our anniversary. We enjoyed the sauna too! Our only complaint was breakfast. No hot items available. Very limited protein options; very heavy on the carbs. The set-up isn’t ideal either. You enter the doors and have to walk through everyone sitting/eating to get to the counter. Though the hotel didn’t seem extremely full, the breakfast room was very crowded and stuffy. We looked for outdoor seating nearby & found none— we sat on the large landscaping rocks & picnicked for our breakfast instead.

Perfect property! Quiet, clean, such a friendly staff. Not enough guests I guess on Monday night. Cause all servers went home and couldn’t get dinner. But still can’t wait to come back. Wi-Fi in rooms however no cellular connection possible

I was told i would have 20 dollars a day in resort credit-that wasnt a thing. Part of the draw is due to being able to eat out but be comfortable and happy. The food was not great. My room wasnt clean. I couldn't shower during my stay because i couldnt get past some cleanliness issues. I had to cover everything because of fruit flies. I requested a balcony, but it hadn't been cleaned in a month at least. Just happy i had a balcony because that was the only part i enjoed. And i stay here often. I was let down.

Great place to snowshoe! Enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna. One of our party was in a wheelchair and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us especially since the main dining room was closed for an event and the only restaurant that was open was not accessible by wheelchair.

Elegant decor, spacious clean rooms with kitchen area. Pool long enough to swim laps, big hot tub and sauna. The staff couldnt have been more helpful or friendly, fabulous. The island/ golf course was a winter wonderland with snowshoes or x-country skis for rent.

It’s out of season. No dining at all available. Also, for such a fancy resort I’d like to see more than 40 channels on a tv. Why can’t they get a Netflix or something. Besides golf, nothing to do at this location in May.
