Hosts were great. We were able to checkin early. Clean and comfortable beds. Bar right next door you get a free drink for staying and a free shot glass as a souvenir
Pelican Lake Motel was fantastic. The outside look is deceiving. Yes, it's an old building. I loved it as soon as I saw it. The room was splendid. Everything inside is brand new. It was clean and fresh. The windows were open and we could smell the lake air (iykyk). We talked to the owner who told us the building and bar were purchased in December '23. We walked around the property and down to Pelican Lake. The view was breathtaking. The best part was we saw a family of Eagles, including a fledgling. We made them mad because of the fledgling and they flew right over our heads. Talk about God's world. My mom and I both HIGHLY recommend spending a night here or a weekend. I only gave the 4 because me and the gal 3 doors down struggled to get in. The owner was awesome and funny when she manhandled and then smacked the key box.
