Cindy and Ken are great hosts. Very welcoming and helpful when arriving at the camper. They were available if needed but also gave us our space. The camper was clean and inviting. The bed was very comfortable. They had everything we needed. I appreciate their hospitality!
This listing exceeded our expectations. It was exceptionally clean and exactly as advertised. The hosts were accessible, helpful, engaging and generous. The RV was beautifully and thoughtfully furnished, and we found everything we needed (i.e. dishes, firewood, ice, etc etc). Everything worked, no issues encountered. Of all the places we've stayed, this place was the cleanest and best-furnished.
My husband and I wanted a quiet getaway and the Holler was more than what we wanted! It was super clean, so quiet I could hear the leaves falling. The hot tub was very relaxing and the fire pit was perfect. The night time Stars was beautiful, you can see so many.Ken and Cindy are super host's, the camper had everything that we needed. Super comfy bed, slept great. The pups, Eddie, Kayce & Marley are super friendly, our little dog Sonny enjoyed his buddies. Eddie and Kayce liked to walk with me and Sonny. Dee & Mark
Ken & Cindy were gracious hosts who thought of everything for their guests. They were very thoughtful in what they stocked for guests. Their dogs frequently came to visit- a joy for our pup! Wonderful little place to stay. We would definitely stay here again.
Hosts were awesome...so were their pups! The camper was adorable, super clean and accomodating...had everything we needed and more. Enjoyed the hot tub. The lights in the surrounding trees were such a nice touch. Cant wait to go back!
We had an amazing time. The property was beautiful. The host were amazing. They were very accommodating and very nice. I recommend staying here if you get the chance. The scenery was absolutely beautiful.
Cindy and Ken are wonderful hosts with a great location! Their property is beautiful and they were so kind and welcoming. The camper is loaded with anything you would need, and the outside area is perfect for relaxing in the hot tub or by the fire. Eddie, Kacey, and Marley are also such friendly pups and got along with our dog so well. We would wholeheartedly recommend a stay here, and hope to stay again!
This camper was charming and quaint to the point one doesn't feel like they are staying in a camper. Very quiet pad contributed to extraordinary sleep! Waking up to a natural setting and enjoying a cup of coffee was the perfect start to our days. Ken & Cindy are delightful hosts along with a trio of beautiful canine companions that welcome guests. For those who like to enjoy nature, there are a trio of natural settings with nice hikes within 20 minutes. Refer to the Arc of Appalachia website for details. We left hoping our travels will bring us back to "the holler"
Very beautiful location and RV. We were very comfortable the entire stay. Easy to forget your troubles relaxing in the spa and enjoying the wildlife. Hosts are wonderful people, very attentive, and it's obvious they really put the effort into making your stay comfortable!! Highly recommend to anyone looking to get away from it all!!
My husband and I stayed here so we could visit serpent mound and explore the surrounding area. The camper was very clean and the hosts were extremely accommodating. Great experience and would definitely recommend.
We loved our stay with Ken and Cindy! The camper was wonderful with adequate space for our family of four! VERY CLEAN! We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit! Eddy (the white dog) was so funny, he came to check on us routinely :) just keep an eye on your shoes, he’s sneaky! Marley was the cutest little yorkie, we enjoyed time with him too! This was a nice peaceful place to relax when we were in between visits with family! Very quiet and relaxing! Can’t wait for another stay soon!
We loved this comfy RV, the great hot tub, and fire pit. The most welcoming, friendliest, sincere, and kindest hosts! Outstanding!
Clean, impeccably maintained, and private.
The RV is stocked with anything you may need during your stay, and beautifully ornate with a genuine personal touch.
We couldn’t have imagined a better experience.
Loved the camper, super cute and cozy! I slept so great in the bed! Hot tub was nice. A little bit of a drive to hiking trails, but Serpent Mound is right next door and Ken and Cindy don’t mind if you hike down to the creek at the back of their property. Really nice hosts who provided us our space. Dogs, not so much lol! 5star camping!
We always wanted to see the serpant mounds and we habe never done a verbo... Owners were super nice and laid back and dogs were super nice. Property was beautiful... felt like we were away from the city. Fire pit was awesome and hot tub was steller under the stars. We didnt want to leave! Def coming back next time! Ty guys! 😊
This place was exactly what we were looking for! It was very private and had a beautiful view facing the woods. We took our 4 little boys and enjoyed going on walks in the woods and playing in the creek. The hot tub was nice to relax in once the kids were in bed. It was very clean and had everything we needed that included a fully stocked kitchen, camping chairs, firewood and fire starter. Cindy and Ken were easy to communicate with, very hospitable and friendly. We will definitely be coming back again!
Ken and Cindy were amazing hists! We had the best time, we travelled to the area for our 11th Wedding Anniversary, and it was perfect! Kayce, Eddie, and Marley (their dogs) are the sweetest things ever, even if Eddie did steal my shoes a couple times! The camper was beautiful and that bed was so comfortable! To tell ypu how great these hosts are, Ken even walked down to us in a storm to make sure we were okay! We will definitely be back!
We decided on a whim to go see Serpent Mound for our 23rd anniversary. We found Cindy and Ken’s place and are so lucky we did. It’s close to the mound and in the crater. The place is private, the bed is comfy, the hot tub is perfect. Cindy and Ken are the perfect hosts, friendly and helpful, and their dogs are also super friendly. It was fun waking up to the dogs waiting at the door wanting to say hello.
You really can’t ask for a better last minute getaway with laid back hosts and everything you need in the camper. We will definitely be coming back!
Came to slow down and enjoy the relaxing pace of camp life. This unit was very well stocked and everything you need has been thought of! Matter of fact i overpacked!!! Just bring your clothes and food! The property dogs are more than welcoming and keep an eye on you, Eddy likes to borrow a few items but he never takes them far. This weekend brought back so many memories from years and years at the campgrounds. Good job, well done hosts
Ken and Cindy are simply amazing. My family had such a great time meeting everyone! Especially Eddie and Kacey. They are such adorable love bugs! We got to explore and see Serpent Mound, play Uno by the fire, grilled out, relaxed in the hot tub,and went to Longs Retreat. Their place is very magical and it was a great time. No detail is spared with them...you will feel right at home just as you enter the RV. Cindy and Ken definitely take pride in their rental and I would love to stay again. Nature is amazing and I am grateful for this experience with the whole family. Thank you again Ken and Cindy.
This little piece of heaven was exactly as described if not better! The camper is spacious and well-appointed for anything you may need or items you, perhaps, forgot. The living area is cozy and comfy as is the king bed. The shower was the bomb! The holler is peaceful and quiet with songbird wakeups in the morning. We were approved by the pack, headed by Marley, and her cohorts Eddie and KC, and were delighted by their visits. Cindy and Ken are wonderful and warm hosts. Ken provided an excellent tutorial for anything we might need to know about the camper and the hot tub. Cindy took the time to chat with us and we had a blast! I do believe we have found somewhere to make, minimally, an annual sabbatical to refresh from the rat race! Thank you so much, Cindy and Ken! It was such a pleasure to meet you both as well as the puppers! Thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven!!!
