"No ice machine - now is summer on the edge of Death Valley w/ temps over 100f. Swimming pool is empty turquoise concrete hole in the ground. The back 1/4 of the property is ghettoesque 2 garbage dumpsters sitting on on desert dirt and loose garbage strewn about. Saw another customer tear up bottom of front bumper because of elevation difference between roadway and parking lot. The staff was friendly."

"Friendly, helpful staff. Not what I expected from Ridgecrest or China Lake. I planned on staying in Lone Pine or Independence but everything was booked up for Labor Day weekend. Great stay, nice clean, quiet place. Good continental breakfast. Nice rest after a long day of driving. "
