"Convenient place to shower and regroup during a long section hike on the Appalachian Trail. Staff was helpful and room was clean. Washing machine was broken, though, so I had to wash my clothes in the sink. Hopefully they can get that fixed soon. Stinky hikers want clean clothes!"

"The view of the lake was great. Relaxing, laid -back setting. They have a nice blacktop trail around the lake, bring your fishing pole and artificial bait no live bait. I was told sometimes the park rangers come down and fish with the kids.The rooms are dated but nice and clean. It would have been nice if there was a microwave and a mini fridge. They offered s'mores by the campfire which was a big hit with the kids. The Restaurant had good service and food. We spent 2 days there on our way to the beach and visited The Natural Bridge area. There was a lot more to explore so we'll be back."
