"We stayed one night at Tante Arlette and got a warm welcome and a drink. We had booked a superior room, but were a bit disappointed that it had no external window. The cleaning was also not perfect and there were spots on the madrass. Otherwise the room was ok.
We decided to eat at the hotel but were surprised when the food arrived before we had selected from the menu. Apparently what we would eat was decided for us. That said, it tasted great. After the dinner we ordered rom from a local...

"We felt at home in this spacious apartment with a beautiful shady deck overlooking the garden. Hummingbirds were everywhere. It was a great base for exploring the northeast coast and the hosts were very kind and gracious."

"Super clean and luxurious house nestled in an enclave of local homes, 5 mins from Sainte Marie. Would benefit from A/C in each bedroom as sleeping was uncomfortable. Outside space is pleasant with nice views but pool is very small and shallow and insects are an issue in the evening in the wetter north of Martinique so difficult to enjoy the outside space."
