Wyndham Grand Barbados Sam Lords Castle All Inclusive Resort
10/10 Excellent
"It was a great stay, the staff was friendly and the food was delicious. The drinks were good and the spa 100/100 . I just wished they would clean the beach. Anyone who comes in the Caribbean wants to enjoy the beach."
"The beach view was amazing. Loved waking up to the ocean waves, as well as falling asleep to it. The room was modern. Exceptional service, very professional. Would definitely recommend. Only thing is I wish they had a microwave in the room."
"The beach view stay was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our visit. We stayed in the avocado building on the first floor and it was spacious and clean. Easy to go out to the pool or sit on the patio to watch the beautiful sunsets every night. It was great having a full kitchen to cook breakfast and light snacks. The only problem was a few bugs in the kitchen and most likely since it is ground floor. The beach across the street was very nice but small. I loved that we could take beach chairs with us when visiting the sandy beach area. I noticed this part of the island had all the best beaches, nicest restaurants, and seemed easy to get from place to place. We rented a car with MAH and not recommended. If you need a rental car the hotel had them and they seemed like better vehicles. I would recommend to explore the entire hotel area since we never got a tour or explanation when checking in. The areas we went to are; Folkestone marine park(awesome snorkel), Haywood’s beach, Paynes Bay beach, Animal Flower Cave and Restaurant, Bathsheba, Andromeda Botanical Gardens, Welchman Hall Gully(monkeys), Oistins Fish Fry(flying fish), St Lawrence Gap, Needhams Point, Cool Runnings Catamaran. Our favorite restaurants were Sugar Apple, Nishi, Uncle George’s at Oistins Fish Fry, Nauti HQ (beautiful beach and great food),and Animal Flower. Went to Massy store for groceries. Overall this island is very beautiful, safe and the people are very welcoming."
"My stay at Le Roy was nothing but the best and much needed. The hotel staff was friendly and amenities were great. Food was delicious and the property was on the beach., which was peefect for me."
