"This property is quite remote. I don’t recommend trying to find it in the dark- although we were sent very good instructions. This place encourages mingling with other guests and we had a delightful time with a British and a Swedish couple around the huge fireplace and at the communal dining table. It is well worth requesting the dinner for$€30 a person including wine."

"Wonderful location with view over river and at base of steps up to the town and castle. Balcony the size of a small apartment. Comfortable bed. Shame a fridge isn’t supplied as, even in April, the temperature is in the thirties. Lovely to buy food from the hotel snack bar and eat on balcony watching the house martins dive and glide!"
