"Very overpriced for what it is. Extremely basic room, rock hard bed, old dollar store flat pillows, heat absolutely blasts & overheats the room. Ac will only run for 5 seconds every 30 min or so to cool it down if its chilly outside. The door was left open for 30 min with ac on in 40 degree weather & the room was still over 70 degrees. I was forced to sleep without sheets or blankets because it was so warm. Next time i will sleep in my car or drive the 25miles to the next hotel.. not worth it at all"

"We had a wonderful stay — it was even better than we expected. The host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit, which made everything easy and enjoyable.We loved the extra touches, like the snacks waiting for us when we arrived, and the cozy blanket that made relaxing in the evening perfect. The second hangout area in the basement was such a fun bonus and gave us plenty of space to unwind.We would absolutely stay here again!"

"Lighti g was very poor in the bathroom. No lids for the coffee so that I might take a cup out. 3 unfresh apples, no oranges or bananas. The pool was closed. 3 apples which were not fresh. "

"The Hideaway is my go-to place to stay when traveling through Kansas. Terri always provides bottled water, snacks and a very clean space. This is a cute, charming stop with a fenced back yard in a quiet neighborhood. I will be back again and I give Terri 5 stars for being a great host."
