"We had to pick up some equipment at the Marina in Golfito so we decided to try Amaka. We were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations..with the highlight being the spectacular view of the marina surrounded be emerald green rainforest covered mountains. We come to Golfito often but don’t normally spend the night..but we’re really happy we gave Amaka a try. THE STAFF is excellent, they upgraded our room to get us checked in earlier..clean, spacious, and very cool “marine life” large canvas artwork..strong AC (important in Golfito) and just a really cool overall island vibe decor. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you to Uriel for going out of his way to check on us occasionally to make sure we have everything we need! The young lady who checked us in was great and made some last minute room maneuvers to get us checked in early! Travel Tips: Get one of the two rooms with full Marina/ocean view if possible although all are nice. Opt for the included breakfast..you can pick from any main course on the menu - highly recommend the croissant/ egg/ mushroom/cheese/spinach option- so good! Enjoy! Hasta pronto! "

"Hotel/apartment was great. Locating the place was difficult. No name of the apartment. Had to ask neighbors wgere the hotel was but I did not know the name of the place. Luckily the neighbor recognized the pictures I showed her. Over all it was a nice, clean place fir the remote area it was in. sbd the manager Ramon was very nice. "
